Good luck everyone with booking everything. Smaller capacity up there makes things harder. Envious of those making the trek. The flight prices are definitely ridiculously priced!

Tip for people if we're ever in this situation again - book your flights before the game with Qantas and it only costs $99 each way to cancel. My flights are under $500 return and was well worth the risk. Also most of the time you can book hotels and its fully refundable with no fee at all.

Hopefully in future years we're hosting MCG prelims, but if not...

For those heading to the game - Pre match Function ...

Rumours the club will do a live fan site for watching the game at Princes Park, given we play Richmond there at 1:05pm on Saturday in the AFLW.

Hopefully they do it and bring the big screen on the truck onto the oval and park it infront of the legends stand, would be a good afternoon, AFLW straight into the prelim watchparty with all the food and drinks vendors still at the ground.

Keep an eye on the club site to see if it happens.

I don't think it would work because usually the allocations are for separate bays. But maybe the Gabba ticketing is different.

Be very keen to see what our allocation is. I wonder if we will find out. As I stated previously Richmond got 12,500 for a QF at the Gabba in 2019 however Lions would have a lot more members with match access after 4 years in finals.

I have been helping a couple of aunties get their tickets for weeks 1 and 2.

I have told them I will register their barcodes for Grand Final ticket ballot for them.

Has Carlton sent out an email yet about the date and times for the different priority member categories to register.
