It was a team effort like it’s been for over 43 years however I know my place in the relationship. I’d get a clip for using the term “Righto Darl, I’ll take it from here…”

I’ve had to go back to bed and lie down for awhile. I dodged a bullet today.

After 40 odd minutes I was getting nowhere. Then Mrs Robbo to the rescue. She turned the wifi on her phone off, used her app and selected AFL finals tickets (not even the link Carlton sent!) and got through immediately. WTF. I then piloted the process from there. I chose my preferred category but couldn’t get 3 tickets. WTF, WTF. I then went up a category (extra $42 for the tickets) and secured 3 seats.

They are now sitting in Mrs Robbo’s account. Looks like I’ll have to be nice to her so she shares the ticket with me.

I’m off to make her a cup of tea and some lunch right now.

unsubstantiated experience is that mobile data gets thru quicker that normal internets.

Today the laptop porting off of mobile (on mobile data) got thru half a minute before laptop on wifi..

so depressing seeing grassroot supporters who are desperate to go, potentially missing out - tyre-kickers & theatre goers who haven't been to a game all year will just buy their bullshit party package, turn up at the last minute, spend half the night in the bar, the other half on the phone taking selfies with the "awesome crowd" and barely watch the game - it infuriates me beyond words...........every ******* year

Melbourne are overplaying their hand a bit
If everything that isn't Carlton, and isn't MCC or AFL is Melbourne members, there's 100% going to be another release for unused allocation.

The same supporters who midseason would respond with "don't talk to me about Carlton", or swearing they'd never watch another game while Voss was coach?

Would be nice if we had a member allocation system that peeferenced those based on games attended.

Waited 10 mins go get offered standing room only…then went back in for another look and couldn’t even get them back…gotta be 95 plus there Friday night

This is spot on. I was at the game last week and as amazing experience it was, it annoyed me that 10 guys in the row in front of us on level 1 bay were all supporters of other AFL teams and spent most of the night on their phones and discussing between themselves "Johnno and his new missus" who doesn't let him do anything and "Johnno is as weak as p1ss". I'm sure many members missed out on going so how do these Muppets get tickets and why go to a game if you don't care who wins and don't want to watch it? Beats me! Anyway, let's hope everyone who wants a ticket gets one and cheer loud and proud Friday night. Go Baggers!

Only a fraction of those 150k are likely to purchase a ticket.

All auskickers get memberships. Many MCC members affliate with clubs (me included) who get counted as club members. Pet memberships. Interstate members. The list goes on..

Why? I go with family and there's more than 4 of us. If we've sat together our whole lives, always paid membership with seats together, why shouldn't we sit together for finals?

Maybe try again, as I was told they hold tickets for 20 mins then re release them if not sold.
