You have 32 listed…
Fixed.
I know where I made a mistake.
Before Boyd was elevated to the Snr list, we had 31.
Instead of adding Boyd in the Snr tally, I subtracted 1 to 30.
Thanks Coona Blues

You have 32 listed…
It's actually only 3 from the senior list because all clubs must use 3 draft picks minimum in the national draft. For some reason I thought it was six but if it is 4, surely Jackson remains and Saddington goes.
You are right that ALL clubs must take at least three in the ND.It's actually only 3 from the senior list because all clubs must use 3 draft picks minimum in the national draft.
Different rules for rookie-listed players, after 2 years must be delisted or upgraded, unless international.
Was Shields classified as our international rookie though?
Now that he has gone home, instead of having an international rookie, can we take an additional rookie instead, to top up the list?
Murphy and Fevola are the 2 big ones Emmz.
Fevola looks pretty close, and I reckon Murphy won't be that far behind him. Why anyone would want to leave a club that looks like it will have a pretty bright future would seem pretty bizzare to me.
I do have alot of confidence in our off-field people to get the job done.
i think this will be the case
delist:
blackwell, wiggins, ackland, saddington, a o'hailpin
possibly:
bannister (probably go around again)
russell (spent a lot of time and effort with him hence above)
hartlett (will be safe as he have no other CHF)
fevola (could be traded)
Ah ok, cheers. You are right that ALL clubs must take at least three in the ND.
This year, for us, we need to delist a minimum of 4 as Jamison has been signed for two years, indicating that he will be elevated at then end of the year, hence, we need 1 for Jammo and 3 for the ND.
Jacobs is at the end of his second year and needs to be elevated or delisted, and Shields is going home.
Russell might be traded home if we get an offer of a third rounder or higher, but he won't be delisted after he's played 14 games this year. Ratten wouldn't give JR so many games if he wasn't worth persisting with from a development point of view.Updated for me
Ackland - Delist
Saddington - Delist
Blackwell - Delist
Jackson - Delist
Aisake - Delist
Russell - Trade/Delist
Jamison - Elevate to senior list
Jacobs - Still not sure
Ellard, Joseph and Hill - extend to second year rookies.
Thursday Update
The Thursday Update will include a link to the vision of today's media conference with Stephen Kernahan, Brett Ratten and Brendan Fevola as well as news on other players re-signing for a further two years.
Russell might be traded home if we get an offer of a third rounder or higher, but he won't be delisted after he's played 14 games this year. Ratten wouldn't give JR so many games if he wasn't worth persisting with from a development point of view.
I think Benjamin is gone.

Waite and Murph to go soon.
Mentioned in the Age yesterday in the article about Setanta going to Germany that Aisake is out of contract at seasons end.
Maybe they only put him on for 1 year.
OP updated
who would we give one contract to?
Aiske 1
Senatata 2
I wouldn't be renewing Aisake's contract at years end.
Setanta will stay.
“It has been very frustrating and I am hoping my visit to Germany will provide the answers that will ensure I am ready for pre-season training in late October,” O’hAilpin said.
http://www.realfooty.com.au/news/ne...atment-for-calf/2008/08/20/1218911828782.htmlThe Age said:The tall defender (Setanta) is flying home to attend his sister's wedding and has sought leave from the club to travel to Munich to get treatment for the calf injury suffered in round 15.
O'hAilpin's younger brother Aisake is unable to return to Ireland for the wedding as he is still playing in the VFL.
He is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to be re-signed, Setanta remains contracted for next year.
This is the status of the list as is understood by the media releases regarding re-signings and contract length. If no length is cited in the release a standard 2 years is assumed.

2007 Draft Booklet

If anyone has anything to add that would be much appreciated. ODN will sticky this as a reference and I'll update it as I can.
Would appreciate any input on the scholarship, trade and rookie rules as well.
For an avid draft and TAC watcher, HBF has dropped the ball with JR .
HBF I ask you this....for a bloke struggling for consistency in the Ants, what development trajectory has Benjamin shown that would save him in front of JR?? I'm afraid you've closed your mind of prematurely on this one and dropped the ball.
Incidentally I also hope Benji gets another year in case he is a latish bloomer.
Since you've written this post, I have swung right around. JR should stay, and only get a game in the senior team should his kicking in front of goal improve, and he cuts down on the amount of turnovers he produces on a regular basis. These are FACTS that cannot be challenged.
I still have no idea why you feel the need to defend this bloke at every oppotunity. Should be play HF, which is about the only role I can see him filling, he has to improve his kicking. You only have to look at Houlihans game on Saturday night to see how his position should be played.
Yes he did do a good job on Johnston, but one good game every couple of months just doesn't cut it for me.
