Really? Surely this is just a Brisbane did it so we will too.

If Kreuzer gets Band 1 compo and Berger too.

Brisbane also are granted a PP.

Draft order would be as follows:

Pick 1 - Carlton (PP)
Pick 2 - Brisbane (PP)
Pick 3 - Carlton
Pick 4 - Carlton (Compo)
Pick 5 - Brisbane
Pick 6 - Brisbane (Compo)

Haha..

They won't get it and they don't deserve it anyway.
They were irresponsible enough to chase a flag when they weren't anywhere near it now they can rebuild properly like they should have been doing already.

Carlton are just trying to stop Brisbane from getting one. Neither team should get one as neither team was bad enough this year or has spent enough time at the bottom of the ladder.

I don't get all the doom and gloom with Brisbane in particular. At the start of the year they were supposed to have the best midfield going round, then half their list got injured and they fell to the bottom of the ladder. Sounds like a problem that will fix itself over summer.

In regards to player retention, sort that out at the trade table.

In any case 2 wins and 54% did not warrant Melbourne a priority pick in 2013.

that scenario is never gonna happen and you know it

Simple solution is to deny both Carlton and Brisbane band 1 compo for Kreuzer/Leuy.

If the AFL are determined to ensure Schache and Weitering are split between the two clubs, then that's the fairest outcome that won't negatively affect other clubs in the pecking order, who will no doubt be up in arms if either Carlton or BL are granted a priority pick.
