Why Charlie Curnow is facing a finals frontier, and how the All-Australian selectors got it so wrong
He might be coming back from injury, but the star Blues forward is so good, and so competitive, that a breakout finals performances is simply a matter of time. As for the All-Australian selectors, they went rogue this year.
They love to twist the knife. I think Curnow failing is a bigger story than the possibility of him starring. I mentioned last year that Jezza, the real Jezza, was a slow burn who didn’t find his finals feet straight away but when he did he literally flew into the stratosphere.
