Nic Newman: “Harry Lemmey has come back in really good nick.(….) some of those in their third or fourth year have started to impress me.”

Carlton supporters: “Harry Lemmey is one who is in trouble next year.”
Lemmey's issue is aggression. That's mental. Coming back in great nick isn't going to move the needle unless he can change his mindset.

Being bigger and fitter may give him the ability to get to more contests and the confidence to crash packs harder. Like you say it’s a psychological thing and being in better shape may be just the boost he needs for it all to click.

It's going to be interesting how Cerra holds up during the season

I can't think of too many players that have had repeat hammy injuries, eliminating the reoccurrannce in their careers, unless they alter their running technique

I guess that could be part of it - doesn't really go into specifics in the article.

Darcy Moore is probably the most obvious example.

I was surprised that he only went for a week and also by the "hour long lunch break -which left him wreaked. Hopefully there were takeaways with the physio that will help the whole club moving forward.

Quite a few other clubs sent players to the same facility

From memory Dylan Grimes had major and numerous hamstring injuries early on and got over them and had a very productive career. Different position though.

Zach Reid from essendon was there at the same time (multiple serious hamstrings, 2 x back stress fractures, torn pec)

Obviously he went for diagnosis and recommended regime - not treatment.

Worth a google of the separta hospital Doha, takes you through what’s offered and some of the processes and procedures available. They have been utilised by players and organisations at the highest levels, olympics, professional etc.
