just copped a nice whack again from King, and Sellers on 360.
That said I agreed with nearly everything Sellers said
Was not able to watch AFL360 tonight, a question if I may etsal1. What was the gist of MacLure's comments tonight?Couldn't disagree with anything Sellars said. But my god, anyone would think Richmond still pays King's wages. Apparently they are the model club for recruiting players for need and are going to be top 4.

Thanks for the update etsal1 , agree it is really difficult to argue with anything MacLure has said here.He went through our midfield, backline and forwardline and spoke about which players were working & which weren't. Highlighted our midfield was way down (carrots injured all the times, murph struggling/injured and too many taggers). Made a massive dig at whoever runs our forward development - saying it has been disgraceful as only Hendo is our good forward as Waitey is never around. Um, says Yarran should be trade bait & he thinks Eddie will go (SA most probably) - reckons Garlett will be only small forward left.
He said our development overall has been pretty crappy.
He didnt really say much that hasnt been said on these boards - just he put them in his usual blunt way.
Most importantly, he wants McInnes, Graham, Bell etc etc playing this week. Just play the kids - see the future.

dont mind king's game analysis, but in regards to the comments he makes about footy clubs and what they should do, he is just a flog, almost at the level of barrett and darcy. king is really catching up to those big baboon asses
Which doubles his career total.Jessie White has played 1 good game this year

Side note. King kept going on about how we read our list so wrong. He says we're miles off and were never close.
Yet, I distinctly remember him calling for Ratts to be sacked because our list was under performing.
King needs to learn YOU CAN'T HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO. How can he go on and on about us last year saying our list is up to it but our coach is crappy but now say our list was never near it.
At least he acknowledged that Mick isn't failing - this is Ratten's list and Mick needs AT LEAST 1 off-season to recruit/trade and shape the list.
i dont think he touches on how Ratten had left the list and the structures in place around the list. Convenient for him to lay pot shots into the list and about changing the coach. The Blues have gone backwards under Malthouse.

Every coach gets atleast a year to work with what they got.i dont think he touches on how Ratten had left the list and the structures in place around the list. Convenient for him to lay pot shots into the list and about changing the coach.
not according to robert. apparently a summer is enoughEvery coach gets atleast a year to work with what they got.
If it was as bad you and other claim, then there's no way known that Hughes and Rogers would have avoided the axe. If we can chop the likes of Ratten and Fevola, then we'd show no loyalty to a recruiter who couldn't spot AFL talent. They'd be sent packing faster than you could boo Jobe Watson.Agree but I think we have recruited too many soft outside player's and that will have to be placed on Rattens plate. The fact is that with so many top draft picks we have done a horrible job recruiting and now we are paying a huge price this list has proven now that they just don't have the mental toughness or the spirit to take the CFC forward.
Brock McLean sitting next to Watts..
Awkward, no?
Written like the disappointed Blues man that he is, and we can all relate to the emotion in his words. He is certainly spot on with a lot of his observations, one of which is that Yarran has lost all confidence. I think we have lost him now and for me this is the single biggest bummer of 2013. And whatever is behind it - plenty out there happy to put it all on Yarran's flawed character, which I don't subscribe to - I can not help but think it was avoidable, or that we will regret for the length of his career elswhere.Whether you like Wallsy or not, it's hard not to agree with his latest article.
