That's stupid - this has been a disappointing finish to the year but making finals is not a waste of time. At the very least you expose young players to that environment - a few got their first taste of it tonight. Should only motivate them to want to be better next time.

A decent enough effort in the end considering the injuries and our slow start. We didn't win the flag but we did win the thread, and we didn't lose by ten goals either.

Haha great response, 7 decades you must be old, i have seen 3 flags that i can remember. And if we went the NRL route, they strip premierships for salary cap breaches wouldn't be good for Carlton.
