All is not lost. Their new saviour in Perryman will get them out of lower rungs of the ladder ( so they think)

Always liked Perryman, would be a good pick up, as long as he is used as a mid

I think a guy like Kennedy is perfect for their list, would compliment the speed and runners the have

Not sure I'd be hanging on to all of their 30+ blokes, could get ugly

Kennedy is worse than our 30+ year olds so how does that work?

Who is this, I hear all of the Collingwood and Carlton supporters saying. This is recently turned 19 year old young gun Logan Morris. He now has more goals in finals than big Charlie Curnow and after Saturday will have more finals appearances.

+1 premiership

Indeed.

On BigFooty, it's always better to have unproven kids with 'potential' as opposed to proven, experienced players with mature bodies and minds....
Can you show me where I have stated that

His type, a hard contested mid, allows the likes of Goatie, Macrae, etc to play more to their strengths

Daicos needs to win a Brownlow next year or he won’t even be as good as Trent Cotchin was at the same age.

I feel like Carlton will be better, they have years and years of high draft picks to draw on. Conversely, they haven't had any success in decades and have a deeply embedded culture of defeat and humiliation.

You are indeed correct. It was pretty poor pair of selections by Collingwood in the 2013 AFL National Draft. OK. In fact, I went to a Sportmen's lunch at the Bundoora Football club in either late 2015 or early 2016 & happened to have the former Western Bulldogs coach - Brendan McCartney on my table. Anyway during our various conversations he told me that he would never have picked Scharenberg as a top 10 Draft selection due to his ongoing football problems during his under 18's history. He also told me - and the other guys on the table - that he knew that Freeman had a very unusual running style which would undoubtedly make him likely to have soft tissue problems going forward. So again he suggested that he would not use a Top 10 selection on him. I know that hindsight is a wonderful commodity but we did make 2 awful drafting selections in that 2013 National Draft especially given that we drafted those 2 guys before Carlton drafted Cripps. OK. Anyway, I suppose that not even the Carlton list manager & recruiting team could have forecast how good an AFL footballer he would turn out to be. Anyway good luck to him going forward. So goodnight & good luck.
Collingwood won premierships. Carlton has a heap of draft picks and embarrassed themselves in the finals 10 years later. Draft picks are so over rated its not funny.
