It is not the outcome of the deal the Eagles were concerned about, it was how CFC went about their business that irked them. When people crap on your doorstep, they are seldom welcomed back. CFC are poor at relationship stuff; and that will cost them n the long run - not just with the Eagles. Losing Judd was a great catalyst for change at the Eagles and they are all the better off for it.

You got a fair deal for Judd - without us having to give up Pick #1.

You can take your issues of Judd naming us his preffered destination (and hence giving us bargaining power) with your former captain.

Yet we were able to complete a trade with Fremantle last year & look like completing a trade with Melbourne (& maybe some others) this year. In an era when trades have dried up, our club seems to be able to get the job done in trade week, while others 'flounder'.

Here are my wants of trade week:

Pick 11 > Mclean + Pick 34.
Pick 27 + Armfield/Browne > Tarrant.
Hadley > Bradshaw.*
Fisher > Maguire. *

*Would add low picks to make these deals eventuate. Especially for Bradshaw.

These trades aren’t too unreasonable in my eyes. All could get done and leave us with a great line-up plentiful with options.

TRADE
*Fev for Bradshaw & Pick 12.

*Armfield (Maybe) & Browne for Tarrant.

*Port Adelaid are looking at Hampson, could be a trade there.

Make that Brennan/MacDonald + 12 for Fev and we're talking. ;)
