I get the impression Ed, Young and Dow are on fairly light duties, and will only be used sparingly. Pretty sure Young didn't play in the intraclub, and Dow and Ed have had niggles. Fogarty might be getting managed minutes too.

Seems there's a contest to see who is the backup for Docherty (Newman vs Boyd), and a battle for the third tall role (McGovern vs Williamson).

Away from that it seems there's a full blown midfield battle to sort out the secondary roles and mid/forward rotations.

Just glad that those involved in coaching and selection have a much better eye for talent given how this list of names has fallen. No strange role players to fill some statistically identified gap with a cheap substitute.

My only hope for now is that we've got TDK, Stocker, Young, Martin, Docherty and McKay involved for the Melbourne game, but it's going to be interesting to see these little positional battles, and the development of our small forward group.

I have to work and no Kayo
So
Good kind people,
A goal by goal or at least q by q would be welcome...
Or will that happen on cfc twitter I wonder.

Was looking forward to heading into this game for a couple of weeks.

Alas I've tested positive for the spicy cough so will have to watch on Kayo.

Hoping to see a bit from our young guys and new recruits.

Really keen to see how Cripps is moving too. If he can be back to his best, he and Walsh could be the best 1 2 punch in the league.
