Where abouts in the Essendon Best & Fairest do you guys see Zaharkis finishing, top 5? He's had a very consistent season and from a statistical point of view this is his best season of footy. I love watching him play.

I'd say he'd be top 5, only 3 blokes have been clearly better (Heppell, Hooker, Ryder). Sneaky chance for AA squad too

Agree with Ethan. Hasn't played a bad game since early season and would be a top 5 B&F chance for sure

Only rest if there's a niggle.
I can agree with this.

If Hurls thinks his hammy needs a rest then give him one, but we shouldn't be resting for the sake of resting. Especially Winders who could very well have 2 games left.

What is the fascination with this board and resting players?

We need to find form for finals, not rest it.

It is a fine line with some players though, Licka looks like he really needs it and it could be the difference in us winning a final or not.

He is retiring and may only have 2 more weeks of his career too go. He'd be shattered if he was rested.

I'd rather just have him sub or something, I want him playing as many games as possible :(

Does he though? He was poor yesterday but last week was our best.

Having an off week doesn't mean he needs a rest.

Like I said though it could be the difference between us playing multiple finals or not, lets not forget why he is retiring, his body can't cope with the rigors of AFL football so there is fair chance he will benefit from a break

My boy!!! ;)

Those who think we will win comfortably are having a laugh.

We simply cannot score high enough to smash even the worst of teams. Forgot smashing. I've been asking for a simple 30-point comfortable win without our opposition being close to us in the last quarter. Has only happened on 3 occasions (vs Richmond, Carlton and Collingwood). Problem is, we didn't know each of those three were going to play so bad until the game. We'd probably have a scrap with Collingwood if we played now considering that they are depleted and I think it will be the same with Carlton. There is something really wrong with the mindset of our players. Simply will not put in the effort against bottom teams/teams out of form. Oh and have we even played a game for 4 quarters this season?
Just win. That's all I'm asking for. Don't care how or when. A win will see us play North in the EF.

Blues will play out of their skins after last week and with the season coming to a close.

As for the changes, Heppell should come in if fit. I'm definitely not willing to rest players as we need some consistency heading into the finals.
