I go to most Carlton games in Melbourne.
For no other reason than to watch them lose. I enjoy it on par with Collingwood wins.
As a kid growing up in the 80's I will never tire of their failure. I feel privileged to have experienced their collapse from a powerful arrogant club to a pathetic rabble. This once seemed like an impossible dream.
These are very good times we live in... take the time to appreciate how lucky we are.
Excellent post!
we also have a sacred duty to prevent these bastards from winning the flag

ED Richards on Monday night revealed how a traffic jam caused him to arrive 40 minutes late to an 11th-hour interview with Carlton coach Brendon Bolton and list boss Stephen Silvagni before last November’s draft.

The Blues twice passed up the dashing defender with Richards’ punctuality helping them settle on Lochie O’Brien at pick No. 10 in a lineball call, allowing the Western Bulldogs to pounce at pick 16

The Bulldogs received that selection from the Blues after trading Jake Stringer and Richards, 18, on Monday night pocketed the Round 10 Rising Star nomination after a promising start to his career.

40 minutes late! Surprised he showed up at all!

I have reached the cbf stage of today at work...….hanging to get to game tonight.

I digress I really just wanted to bump this thread.

My first game of live football.

Rhys Jones...a bit tired...apparently....LOL

Reckon the clubs, the players, the advertisers all care.
The money generated for all these entities comes from the media rights deal. Less ratings, less money.
But the AFL scheduled Carlton on four Friday nights, what did they expect?
They get what they deserve. Carlton are now less relevant than North Melbourne.

Sweetly beautifully put.

(You dive for your own crays?)
I do dive for my own crays.....my nads are small and shrivelled.....global warming my arse.....

They have a seemingly unlimited capacity for bad decision-making. Long may it continue.

I'm sure Vicky Park was only seeking clarification re the first part of this post. Still she is more widely educated now.

Good point. Having an all consuming, florid, unrelenting total hatred for Carlton should never be seen as a reason to preclude a manic, complete and well developed hatred of Melbourne, Essendon and Richmond.

You and your cheating club have seen better days Harmsey - suck it up!

1 win after 10 matches:

Carlton

1897 (finished 2nd last - 2 wins from 14 matches)
2002 (finished LAST - 3 w from 22 m)
2015 (finished LAST - 4 w from 22 m)
2018

And for comparison

1942 (finished 2nd last- 2 wins from 16 matches)
1982 (finished 3rd last - 4 w from 22 m)
1999 (finished last - 4 w from 22 m)
With tonight's TENTH loss 2018 is again a worse start to a season than their 2015 spoon.

That's One more for the good guys!
Oh yeah!
Remember a Carlton loss is equal to a Collingwood win.

Are you saying we actually have 16 wins? Damned AFL robbing us of our rightful position at the top of the ladder again!

Its all part of the Bloose master plan. Have no fear. They have no pride. A comfortable pick one coming their way and a second potentially a high pick for any players they might lose, ie Murphy. The tank is strong.
