Silvagni was a glorified scragger the media invented a "narrative" about because he was good looking & all the dirty-old footy journos were desperate for an excuse to chat up Jo Bailey. Southby was the Carlton and Victoria full back, and unquestionably the top full back in the game, for 90% of Doull's career. Doull was not even exclusively a Centre Half Back - he played just as much a flanker as he did in the spine and first came to notice when he toweled up Royce Hart - on the flank. He also features in the Carlton and AFL Century teams - on the flank.

Better luck next time. Perhaps you could have a crack at whether Jesaulenko was actually a better ruckman than Nichols.....

What kind of a sham faux-rebuild is this? First he trades pick #1 for Liam Shocker, and now Silvagni gets to make this decision in a desperate attempt to save his own arse? He's managed their list as well as his son/daughter (i'm not even sure what "it" is) plays football.
