You're correct that he's not a good contested player, which maybe suited him better with our old gamestyle with fewer contests. It'd be great to see him just be 20% more physical and willing to hit contests, but you can't hope for too much with blokes as light as him.
I agree that he could be more physical, but I don't think there's any benefit to that. He doesn't have the size to move AFL players off the footy.

I reckon Tuohy or Close might be due to be managed.
They all have a week off following our clash with WCE

Unless someone is unavailable due to injury, illness or personal reasons, why would you manage players the week before they get a forced rest anyway...

You might want to be careful, Miss Kitty might start getting jealous.

Agree we are beyond the rest/manage stage now. They will put forward the best 22 available for this weeks game (not sure WC match ups are dramatically different so will probably get insight into clubs views on those tough choices we have been debating on the board)

The only reason someone misses this week is for injury (Rhys) or genuine niggle/soreness that could benefit from a 2 week specific training block (not sure if we have any of those).

So this week ins and outs are hard given Cegs will come in as ruck (and he probably isn’t in the best 22 finals)…as the only forced change…

In Cegs, Duncan, Smith
Out Stanley, MOC (sub) and I DONT KNOW

I think Atkins gets a rest this week - he's been awesome , freshen him up for the QF

I reckon (with no science) we have sydney covered in melbourne. It is Richmond who if we play them worries me the most. Not because they are better just because it is their last dance and will through caution to the wind.

i know we could argue that sydney and melbourne have better midfield than us but I think the way we are using ours (all getting about 65% game time instead of 85-90%+ for other teams midfleid) has mitigated this issue a bit in terms of fresh legs and sustained intensity.

so i am more comfortable than ever we can beat the good teams - just worry about a wildcard

Nope
MCG home tenants: Melbourne, Collingwood, Hawthorn & Richmond

Marvel home tenants: Essendon, Carlton, North Melbourne, St Kilda & Western Bulldogs
Essendon and Carlton are joint tenants. Dons played 4 home games and Blues 5 at the G

Zuthrie Rohan I don’t think are going anywhere, both important pieces. Miers seems to be reveling in the linkup chains but is probably not as hot defensively as his slow.. so makes for an interesting one.

O’Connor should be the one on the peripheral now
Miers is in no doubt.

I love Zuth but I think he'll be out barring injuries. Great sub option. MOC out
