Apparently Deny Knowledge out too

From Racing Victoria on X (formerly Twitter):

"Caulfield Cup Update:

The Danny O’Brien-trained Young Werther was re-inspected today due to a change in the horse’s gait and has been passed suitable to race.

The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained Deny Knowledge was re-inspected today due to a change in the horse's gait and will be required to undergo another inspection prior to scratching time tomorrow to determine the horse's suitability to race.

Trainer Andrew Forsman notified RV earlier today of his decision to withdraw Positivity from the race.

All other runners have been passed suitable to race".

Yep, hasn't that joint turned to shit since they cosied up in bed with Ladbrokes and Kremlin.com. Their original stuff 2 or 3 years ago was real good, but I don't think the bloke has actually given a decent winning tip since Queman won the Oakleigh Plate this year. Their manikato night live stream was champagne comedy

Going from punting to content creation to selling a ratings system kind of says it all. If they struggle to make money off the punt these days, what hope are us mere mortals.

Pre gelding form is irrelevent i would have thought.

He's a different horse his last three starts and is improving with each run.

FWIW he was beaten less then two lengths in the Tancred. Not running the distance is a stretch.

You'll probably get 100-1 about the winner of the Tancred tomorrow, if you think that form stacks up.

Zardozi on top for me today.
Warmonger gets the conditions to bounce back into form if he's good enough.

Good luck punters!

I’m not handicapping them per se, just looking at R&S neurals on a wet track. All my pre form was out the window 6am this morning.
ive been reading this paper, which is pretty interesting

surely a modern professional track like caulfield, with several layers of track surface would have not turned into "slop" therefore it would perform more "soft like" than "heavy slop"

Caulfield has always been a decent draining track, I can’t remember the last time it was slop. Wind there is more of a factor than condition for mine.
