Damned if you do and damned if you don't. You just hope all the Kangas locals get on board and support the committee and coach, as they have been pretty vocal toward the football department recruiting hard.

Good on the lower teams spending a bit and targetting some good players. These days its what you have to do to get success. How much do people think Kerang and Tooley/Manang have spent each year for the past 4-5 years?? One car load of 3 would have taken home $50,000 from Kerang this year.

Swan Hill likely to lose a few young locals that they have been relying on for the past few years. Leighton Dullard to Strathfieldsaye in the BFL, Luke Kiel trying out for the Roosters in the VFL and Tom Dullard unlikely to persue football due to his study, Declan Foott will most likely be Pioneers. Trouble for the Swans on the pond? Quack, quack, you stay classy.

No matter who is officially named coach I think it is safe to say that Shaun will be pulling the strings. Knowledge of the game is unsurpassed in this neck of the woods. He may not of enjoyed the success in the way of flags, but indeed very much respected.

That is sort of what I was getting at Kid. Surely they should just name Shaun as the coach. First game we played against them last year I played on Millie and he flat out told me that he wasn't coach. The footy record named Pollock as coach but Shaun did all the speaking at breaks etc. Most people in the league know Shaun is coaching them so they need to just say that. Shaun is a beauty, great player, great coach and I get along great with him but if the same thing happens this season I think the league needs to look into it as surely it affects points allocations or have I got that wrong

Koondrook had a lot of trouble with the points system last year as they had to get rid of adam pollock early on. They would have appointed lee pollock as coach as coach's are minor points. I dont understand how they still had enough points to recruit blokes like Ryan Petzke half way through the season?

Exactly right Ron. It was obvious to all that Filo was their coach. They apparently had to get rid of big Adam Pollock but then could add Phil Lobb and also the big Pecka. As I said if they try to pull it this year it needs to be looked at

Petzke didn't take any points as he hadn't played for a number of years.

To be honest mate I don't know a lot. Being down here in Bendigo means I am out of the loop. We have a get together in a few weeks so I will find out how we are travelling then. Our aim is to improve on last year which means top 5 hopefully

Played a season when Tony Berry, Ash Thomspon and that crew went there. Didn't get huge bucks from what I remember.

Tigers have signed Cadd again as coach. Up to 6 melbourne travellers is the word on the street for the nasty pussy cats. Interesting to see how nasty they can be next year and try turn it around.
