Coates, Davis, dalrymple, smith, hall are some quality outs and haven’t heard or seen a lot to come in to replace.
The 3 recruits they have announced. 1 has played VFL, 1 has played SANFL and the other played at few games in the Geelong league this year. Then you have a reserve side that won the premiership with only 5 players over 24 to give an opportunity to.

Kennedy will also be a fly in for Kerang so won’t play to many games

Tyntynder are shaping up to be a real surprise pack in my eyes next year! Margo and Eagle creates one hell of a forward line! They seem to be recruiting allot of ex locals back as well. Be interesting to see if Brodie Carroll joins his Tah teammates

If they got Carroll back they would absolutely be around the mark. Think that would be a long shot but

Would still need to win at minimum 7-8 games more than 2023
I couldn’t imagine them actually getting Carroll back but, maybe I just caught George on good days but he was fantastic when I seen him so guys like him, Wattie and someone like Carroll would see there top end match up pretty well with most sides and from what you here they have improved the bottom end. They have a handful of fairly handy kids under 20 so they would all need to take a big step.
I think this season is shaping up as one where the top 5 teams might all only win about a dozen or so games. I don’t think sides like Tyntynder will be great but with abit of luck they might find themselves around that mark

When was the last time that happened? An even seven teams in the competition is only going to drive the standard of footy higher for the region.

My memory isn’t too good but after Nyah went back to back I think that was a really even season when Woorinen won it, think they came from 5th. It seemed it was anyones though.
I know swan Hill only won 10 games when they won it in 2010 and Tooly were probably the side to beat and I think probably only won a couple more then that.

What attracts players to this comp other than huge $$ and nice country people at the clubs. I heard from a few players from different clubs the standard of footy is very ordinary..

Central murray is still an okay standard of footy turbs, not as good as the ninties or early 2000s but there's big wide open grounds, great playing surfaces and it would sit between premier and div 1 edfl with the best teams.

Not sure pat fired too many Shots are woora tbh

There are players who like to go to clubs who haven’t had success for a while and try and get them success. These are the good people willing to challenge themselves and build a club up. Brings a lot more joy I reckon..
Might’ve answered yourself for the first point perhaps.
Second point, you said yourself Gourdis would dominate the CMFL, from one of your powerhouse leagues I believe. And I'm pretty sure he'll be spoken about for years as a 19 goal legend in the country.
