Warner absolutely went missing in the critical 2nd and 3rd quarters but he was was not alone.
Outside of Rowbottom there was no good Swans player today.
And he's still a couple of years away from likely peaking as a player.
If he was on the table we'd have to give up pick 3 plus some other good pick to satisfy Sydney.
Not that I expect him to be keen to leave this year.

I do think big game failures damage the value of players

Having said that it probably does need to be in multiple big games, rather that just a one off, to seriously affect a players value, and Warner was pretty good in the 2022 GF, so Warner’s value may not have taken too much of a hit from yesterday’s failure

Reckon Sydney would prefer picks 3 and 13 over what Freo could offer, suspect he'll stay for next year or demand to be traded to freo this trade period tho. Would rather proven value Warner than who we could pick with those picks.
