it just seems like a more games to probably get similar results. the bigger sides wont have to beat each other and can get away with beating the smaller sides until later on.
And there's more blow outs as well it seems. All it does is give UEFA and the top teams more money, what a surprise.

I reckon City let the Gallaghers have a little too much to do with the club haha. I think they are just excited cos they are a small club and some big celebrities actually support them so they get carried away.

Like James Bond is a Liverpool fan but we aint letting him design and shirt for us haha

You know James Bond isn't real right?

I just watched the City/Inter highlights so just seeing City’s kit now. I don’t get it? I was expecting something truly horrendous looking but it’s just a normal looking football kit, especially one that they won’t wear that often because it’s their fourth kit. Not terrible at all.

He says after a single match day. Solid sample size.

Yep more games = less random error, so reduced risk of shock elimination

Even without Dembele, some big names in that PSG line up. Professional performance from Arsenal, felt it should’ve been more than 2-0 however a very important home win in this new format. Havertz fantastic again.

Not sure why Celtic managers always think they can go toe to toe with the best in Europe. Hopefully this is a reality check for Rodgers and he plays a less open game gamestyle against teams with far bigger budgets.

It is the problem with the Scottish league being so weak. A team like Celtic really needs to play with 2 DMs at that level but DMs are useless in the Scottish league against teams that park the bus so you don't play with any and you can hardly sign players for 6/8 games a season.

Every Celtic supporter knows Taylor and Scales aren't good enough defenders but because they win everything domestically the board won't spend the money to upgrade them properly. Like they have probably spent 15m on left backs and 15m on left centre halves over the last few years across 3-4 players in each position, just spend that much on one good one.

Rodgers aggressive pressing is not going to work against that level of opposition either.

That Havertz move has worked out pretty nicely for both clubs. Nice to see him rediscover his confidence.
