I can see how you could take that view, but I’d characterise it more as poor by his standards because of where he won the ball and his use. The way we set the contest up structurally the only three that I felt were likely to have big games through the middle were Mitchell, Crisp and JDG. Lipinski though wasn’t far from his usual standard and had some big moments hence why I felt he was good.

Jaicos was stuck on the Members wing which didn't see the ball for the entire first half. It was blowing a gale and most the play tended to be on the Warney side of the ground. Jaics will be itching for a big game in the PF.

Not quite my angle. Those arvo matches are “usually” 4:35. Unless it was a typo or the word was no good that was what had me on the hook.

Lipinski is a poor choice for sub imo because it's really defensive. It's "we might lose someone important, we need someone who can be 2/3 of a Mitchell or Pendlebury in case we lose one of those guys."

I'd prefer our sub to be a legit wild card game-changing inclusion. Ginnivan could be that. Ash Johnson, who is a country mile from inclusion in the starting 22, could be that. Reef McInnes could be that.

Lipinski can't be that.

Seen nothing like it from a player coming onto the ground. It was talked about on coxys podcast this week.
