The only two viable sub material imo
One provides run, and the other provides spark/x factor
Cant see it being anyone else. You can't have a endurance runner (as we saw with WHE previously) as a sub. Impact only.
I'd be campaigning to keep WHE playing in the HB role. He had a very good game against Melbourne.

I agree. No offence to Lippa, but he offers very little x factor. Ginni is a nightmarish for opposition because you really don't know what he's going to next.
Thank god you said that. If you hadn't, it may just have been the end for our poor handsome Lippa.

Thanks for the chuckle gang. Lifting the crowd is up there with some of Hamish’s gold of this week 😂
Fly has commented on how the crowd lifts the players.

McRae also said we’re better with Grundy 6 weeks before trading him. He’s an exceptional communicator and knows the strings to pull. It’s fluff. His actual decision making in holding Ginnivan back until midway through the 4th Q is much more instructive.

I also think this is most likely
I don't think they'll make a change to that back line. It just was all over everything. And Crisp was on fire from the back of the pack.

I think it'll be either Lippa or Mitchell - depending on whether we want Daicos to be an inside or outside mid. If it's Port, I think we'll use him on the inside and Mitchell might be in trouble.

If he was fully fit I'd be on board with replacing Mitchell with Nick (didn’t rate Tom's game against Dees as highly as others), just don't think we put him into that position after a lay-off and still not training fully a week out. See it either being half back or Lipinski's spot at half forward, will of course rotate through the middle in either role. If he comes up well over the next week then mid could be possible though.

His ball use was top drawer. Chaining handballs and spot up kicking. For context on the night he was better than Jaicos, Elliott and McReery. Don’t get me wrong he’s on the edge, but Ginnivan hasn’t done enough to move past him. What do you think Ginnivan has done to move past him in the pecking order?
We usually agree Sco but I thought Lippa's ball use was pretty rushed and poor all night, but he happened to shank a few to advantage and lucked out a bit.

He looked too hurried to make sweet contact and got three or four massively out of the instep. Real duck hooks, like my driver. One hit McStay, but it was wobbling pretty funky (as evidenced by Mcstay's double grab of the mark). Another skewed to the left HFF and got lucky to find McCreery after a few bounces, who then hit Crisp for his goal.

But he did miss a few too, and his fumble in Q1 was super costly.

(I do agree he was better than Elliott, McCreery and Jaicos, but those boys aren't going anywhere.)

I dunno... I just have a feeling this might not be the ultra-straightforward selection you're predicting.

I don’t think there’s any way Mitchell goes out.On form alone it has to be Lipinski.
I thought Mitchell was critical getting some ground balls last week.
Lipinski did very little. Hasn’t really played well since returning. May have had one decent game from memory. Definitely the weakest link at the moment.

Nobody has yet mentioned the elephant in the room but our worst performed last start was Pendlebury. He’s obviously not going to be dropped and will start in our 22 but if he backs up with another poor game and/or the team is found out for pace…possible candidate to be subbed off?

No one mentioned it because it's not true?

Wrong on all counts
