Sometimes you just spend the whole day where the ball ain’t. Jaicos didn’t get many chances. Then getting pinged for htb … uncharacteristic lack of awareness perhaps affected people’s opinion of how he played.

I don’t actually know. But I do know from where I was sitting in the mcc members that I should have brought my binoculars !!!

Nobody has yet mentioned the elephant in the room but our worst performed last start was Pendlebury. He’s obviously not going to be dropped and will start in our 22 but if he backs up with another poor game and/or the team is found out for pace…possible candidate to be subbed off?

What point are you trying to make, TFT? Are you saying Pendles is washed up and should be dropped but won’t be coz he’s a sacred cow?

Personally I think it’s an indictment on the rest of the team that we still rely on Pendles so much. At this stage of his career he should be able to cruise around the half-back line without much responsibility, I’m Luke Hodge-style, without having to push up into the mids to save our bacon when the game is on the line. Guys like Crisp, Lipinski, DeGoey and Jaicos should have fully taken over from Pendles by now but haven’t shown the consistency.

I don’t think anyone does tbh. I’m no doc, but even low grade 2 weeks would be the absolute minimum. For a player with adams soft tissue history.. this has ruined my night.
