So it sounds like Jordy won't be the sub. Rapt if he's truly fit enough to play a full game. Makes us so much better

So it appears as though Titch is the only (starting 23) player "unavailable" which is kind of incredible to think about it. Although I still suspect that much like Jordy, he's not injured, they're just trying to get appropriate load into him so he can come straight in

Which is still fine. If we can keep winning until Titch comes back it would be massive for the season. I'm hoping he's back for the Blues

like to have WHE versatility if available ...however can't really drop anyone except Sullivan whose will be replaced by JDG ...Even lippy did enough last week

I think he’s further away than that. Not sure how long but there is no timeline on him. Maybe Anzac Day. Maybe he is deloading atm but he hasn’t done full training in 2 weeks

As I said in another thread, if Long can keep playing games like last week then our reliance on Mitchell eases up a bit.

Do we reckon he had another setback?

Because in those early season training sessions I was able to attend, he looked ot be building up really nicely

I keep holding out hope that Ned Long can be an option for us to try and shut down Cripps

What I saw him do on Saturday gives me some hope

Think he said on the weekend he just had a big load.
He only did running last week. No training this week from what I’ve seen.

It's a flawed idea to ease someone in via the sub. They are either ready to go for a full game or they aren't. If they are ready and it's a quality player like Jordy, you start him.

Any sub needs to be ready to play a full game.
I think you're undervaluing getting an extra quarter or two of resting into Jordy. It'll set him him.

he looked ok in a team that won by 90 points but he hasnt looked very good for awhile until last Saturday
I hope he gets votes in big games this year

Friday night can't come quick enough!
Watching the blues lose on Thursday night will wet the appetite, as much as I don't like the Hawks it's an easy choice on who to barrack for in that game..

I would ultimately prefer the ladder be a little more even for our overall sake, but you can never really go past wanting the Blues to get pumped

Titch disappearing is a concern. Smells like setback to me

Only ones I would have a question mark on is Reef. But might be a have to keep persisting with him down back. Otherwise, WHE or Frampton come in this week.

Howe pull up ok after the game?

Not that easy for me.

The Carlton organisation is pure filth but I hate the Hawthorn playing group more than the Carlton playing group. Cripps, Harry, & SoS seem like good blokes*.

*That might be taking it too far. My apologies.

It's a test of whether you are glass half full or half empty.

Glass half full - Yes - one of them loses.
Empty - No. One of them wins.
