Don’t mind it actually. Go with our two ruck structure and still have McStay and Membrey (who is a version of checkers). Having those two up forward with a resting ruck is better than we managed much of last year when McStay was injured.

It's better than we had for the vast majority of 2023. You've got to go back to Cloke Dawes and Brown.

If not for checkers being managed then it’s pretty much what we expected. Degoey for Sullivan.

Cox for checkers might actually be ok as a horses for courses approach anyway.

Cox plays and we usually win. Whether he personally contributes to that or not.

His mere presence on the field attracts oppo attention which then frees up others.

My dad, brothers and sister all root for Footscray since we lived in the west side of Melbourne back then and grew up in the western suburbs in general. Furthermore, Brad Johnson lived on the same street as us and my brothers actually got to meet him in person and got to gawk at his red Mazda RX7 series 6. Down to earth guy!

And I can never be upset seeing the Bulldogs win except against Collingwood, they are the second team to root for as a magpies fan IMO.
