Kelly's handy to have around but he isnt used to being the top banana. Similar to Gaff, if you put some work into him he disappears from the field completely.Just looked back on the QF stats and saw Kelly only got 13 touches. Thirteeeen!
Did we tag him? I legit cannot remember.
Edit: just read up on it.
"Cox's dominance set the scene for a remarkable opening to the game as Tim Kelly, blanketed by the tag of Levi Greenwood, was kept to just one disposal at quarter-time."
and there was everyone else thinking Madgen was just about our best player on the night...
Way to put a downer on Madge's breakout game. And everyone else would be wrong...
The key stats for Madgen was the 56% disposal efficiency and 9 turnovers!
The only player who won his position on the night and therefore our best was Moore with his 11 intercept possessions and 100% disposal efficiency.
I've had him also, he did in for scans this week to see if they could get his finger out of his middle intestine.Have held De Goey this long in fantasy and he is firmly on the chopping block. With Adams out for 10 weeks surely he plays midfield? You guys will be more informed than myself, what are your thoughts please?

He scored a goal and collected 25 possessions, that’s all people will remember.Isn’t breakout game where you announce you’ve arrived as a player? If so I’d kindly request he breaks back in!

He personifies our problem at the moment, especially up forward along with WHE, Thomas and Cox.I've had him also, he did in for scans this week to see if they could get his finger out of his middle intestine.
Honestly the guy could be anything but he is icing rather than the cake (currently) IMHO.
I’ll also add Sidebottom to this, very ordinary this season so far.He personifies our problem at the moment, especially up forward along with WHE, Thomas and Cox.
Lots of cake icing when we need more meat and 3 veg....
You never know SCO. I was very pleasantly surprised by his performance. Given his lack of experience in the role I thought it was very meritworthy.Isn’t a breakout game where you announce you’ve arrived as a player? If so I’d kindly request he breaks back in because he will 100% not be playing on a wing for the Collingwood seniors in Rd 1 2022 meaning he’s just taking those minutes from Macrae, Brown, McInnes, Poulter, Rantall, Bianco, Phillips, Stephenson oh wait...

No he was poor on the night. It was a nod to us dropping Brown who would have given us no less than Mayne, Madgen, Greenwood or his brother.
Hoskin Elliot is throwing a spanner in that theory. It's gonna get ugly without Adams. In Madge we trust.Unless Madge grows a third leg or we go full tank I’m very confident given his ball use and complete lack of leg speed. He’s basically Mayne, but a turnover merchant instead of negative metres gained. Choose your poison with those two a turnover 60 metres upfield or ball retention 20 metres sideways. It’s no wonder our midfield is f’ed and Gaff will have a day out up against them this week!
FWIW I’m entirely critical of the coaching group here and not him. If they had half a brain he’d be playing two’s, but it’s clearly well established at Collingwood that effort trumps skill.
I cant believe we fielded the oldest team of anyone in round 4.
It's just so Nathan to continue to play 30+ yr olds.
Greenwood will no doubt be selected in the side this week just as Mayne was the weeks prior.
Everything changes but nothing changes at Collingwood.

I thought I read that Adams' MCL was likley to see him sidelined for 2 - 4 weeks?Have held De Goey this long in fantasy and he is firmly on the chopping block. With Adams out for 10 weeks surely he plays midfield? You guys will be more informed than myself, what are your thoughts please?
