He’s not physical enough for the inside and doesn’t have enough tricks on the outside so where do you play him?

Greenwood can atleast offer protection on the inside whilst Adams is out.

My stance on Mayne has been quite clear though, would rather play a man down if he was the last option on our list.

Fair enough. It’s been an incredibly disappointing time to be a Collingwood supporter.
My hope now is that we put results aside and try and play an attacking style and bring through our youth.

Inspired me to get into zen do kai and that.. so started up when I was ****en 8.. and the sensei was preaching to us about life and vlakies like that.. you know the.. circle of life.. ****en ancestry.. zen.. sort of a thing and that re.. quoting bruce lee like a finger pointing away to the moon.. that sort of stuff.. then we got into sparring.. play fighting and that re.. and I had him as a partner.. and it was like he didn't expect it and that re.. but I gave him the best ****en half crescent roundhouse moon kick to the fatsa mate.. and he fell down like a sack of spuds or whatever re.. and I go to him.. how do you like that finger pointing away to the moon now re.. ha......... ha.. and he was like.. wow.. and I go stop talking shit and get on with it and that re.. he then goes.. how did you know I was talking shit.. and I was like.. Ade. After that he only talked shit to the other students.. and I was the only one to get my 6th dan.

Moral of the story is.. don't preach to the players.. don't micromanage em and that re.. let nature take its course if you want to get the best out of em and that.. the name the number the club.. it comes from them.. not you or anyone else.. and I did watch karate kid like 250 times as a kid and that re.. and it was all about Daniel San.. not Miyagi.

I’ve seen nothing to suggest that T Brown is physically ready

Physically big enough. Been on the list a couple of years. Might not be up to it in the long run but with the form and injury to Adams and Elliot... it’s now or never with the likes of T Brown, Murphy, Sier, T Lynch

Otherwise why persevere with them on the list beyond their current contracts?

Moore forward, Gooey at centre clearances, Maynard in the middle. Let’s see if we can get a ******* clean clearance for a change and move it to a legitimate marking target.

We need to work on our clearances and entries into our fwd50 first, I don't think Moore would make much difference until we fix that, but then i'd like to see Howe up there, Moore, Roughie and Madgen would be able to hold down the fort for now. Would be great to have Langdon in our side though or maybe Shaz, they'd come in real handy right about now.

Yep, DeGoey in the middle, he's gotta prove he belongs there. Would be great to have Maynard in the guts, we need a tough bull in there, even more so that Tay and possibly Seir won't be playing this week, but i think he'll get the job on Ryan, need to shut him down.

He wasnt at Collingwood 2 years ago.

The VFL was cancelled last year due to COVID and hasnt started this year yet for presumably the same reasons.

So his major flaw is that he hasnt played an actual game for premiership points yet.

He meant the last preseason game he played in his first year prior to covid lockdown he looked excellent.

He’ll get more midfield time. Not sure how much he’ll do when he’s in there

But don't get me wrong. We need to start phasing out the Madgens, Maynes, Greenwoods. Just probably won't happen at once.

Yep, especially Mayne and Greenwood, they have been awesome for the club, but getting too old now. Madgen is still young and before we phase him out, i would like to try him in other positions, he looked good on the wing, but we do have other players to fill that roll.

WHE won’t be dropped, after his improved performance against GWS. I know his good outings are rarer than sightings of the thylacine in Tasmania, but it did happen. Cox will be better in drier conditions too. With Macrae in the mix, and another viewing of McCreery, I’m actually looking forward to this game.

For me, he will never lead us to a flag as our go to forward.
There is no way that he can be held in the same conversation as Kennedy, Walker, Buddy, Daniher, Hawkins, Cameron, Brown, McKay, Curnow, Naughton, both Kings...I can keep going.
I can barely think of 3 other teams that he’d be a walk up start in.

But you are not suggesting we replace him with any of the forwards you mentioned. Your replacement was Cameron.
I'm yet to see any of those you listed other than Buddy, tear apart Richmond's (or any other) defense in a preliminary final.
