Afternoon folks, bit stiff last night!
Do any of you members have an email from the club regarding tickets for this coming week?
Asking on behalf of a family member!
Cheers
Not quite yet. Surely soon, as apparantely tickets are on sale tomorrow.
But hopefully email comes soon.

Without the context of the games scores etc it’s a pretty pointless comparison. For instance, we had 6 scores over 90 points earlier in the year, only 2 across AJ’s 6 games. Higher scores, more likelihood Checkers has an increased scoreboard contribution.

I think people are marking him harshly. He’s still the guy doing all the bulls king work inside F50. Add that yesterday our F50 delivery didn’t do to much to favor our forwards.
People are not marking him purely on yesterday's game. His form has been down for a number of weeks. The club must be well aware of any injury he might be carrying. I imagine that due to a lack of players capable of playing his role he has been played out of necessity. I'd at least like to see Krueger included so there is another tall target in attack. We don't seem to play our rucks in attack much anymore which increases the responsibility on Mihochek to perform. Seems pointless in a way playing 2 rucks if one of them is not going to rest forward. Probably didn't help much yesterday that Elliott didn't kick straight.

On the freo board they seem fairly confident, confused how they're $2.50 under dogs, they seem to think they should be favourites.

Don't think they understand if we play with that same style against them as we did against Geelong we should realistically win by at least 25+ obviously a big if to back it up but yeah.

Krueger has to play.

And they will need to replace Adams. Maybe Bianco or Macrae and move Daicos into the middle. There is always Brown.....

So 2 have to go out. Adams is the easy one.

Can’t wait for these comments to backfire on me. Can’t see too much trouble with us taking care of Fremantle, to put it simply, I don’t think they’ll kick enough goals to beat us. So I predict a solid 7 goals to 9 goals kinda affair…

I’d love to get Krueger into the forward line, I’m not sure what happened with Cox on Saturday but if he’s only playing 40-50% game time he may as well not be there. Darcy rucks 90% of the game for freo just let Cameron go head to head

At this stage I’d probably lean
Out: Adams, Cox
In: Macrae, Krueger

Macrae/Carmichael coin flip

I've been here before-many times. I've seen the Pies lose qualifying finals and felt the despair and sense that all is lost despite the second chance. It's always confronting to look ahead because you have lost and you will be facing a winner from the cutthroat game. As I watched the Dogs tear the Dockers apart all I could think was how dangerous their midfield is and how potent their forward line looked. How can we beat this mob who gave us our only flogging for the year. Oh-I'd much rather face Freo.

How quickly the wheel turned. Suddenly Freo looked unstoppable and so quick all over the field. Aish was playing like a triple Brownlow medalist and their young kid up forward looked like the next big thing. When the game ended it was new worries about Lobb and the possibility of Taberner and their electric pace.

The mind plays all kinds of games during this time.

If we do get over the Dockers it suddenly becomes such a simple, uncluttered equation. Win and we are in a grand final. That is exciting. I think there is some fire in the belly of our boys. I can see it in our coach's eyes and words. Get over the next hurdle and then I have a feeling we will give the cocky Swans a real battle.

But first the Dockers.

No Bianco. No McCrae. Watching the manic tackling pressure we applied I cannot see either of those boys applying any heat or physicality. JC has to be the next in. He is raw and needs to develop a professional footballer's body, but he has that intangible cockiness and self belief and is hard at it.

All opposition supporters seem to under estimate us.Even after a great performance yesterday against the hot favourites for the flag, they still don’t rate us,it seems.Do they even bother to watch our games to make these judgments of us?

I don’t care what they think.
Never read opposition Posts or visit their boards (unless we beat Carlton & boot them out of the finals).

Just say all goes well and we go out and win this, when is the prelim likely to be played?

I have to drive over to Horsham on the Saturday so I’m praying it’s not then

Don't worry, they all rate us, it's the jelousy that eats away at them

I thought JC was injured otherwise he is absolutely next up.

It'll be Saturday but won't be afternoon It'll be twilight or night, not sure. Usually if teams from different states are playing they give them enough time to fly home after the game, but the AFL make up their own rules

Also, Has anyone been sent any info regarding tickets yet?

I like your optimism even if I don't fully share it. We are an excellent chance to beat Fremantle, but Sydney are the team I predict to be premiers as they are the one team that has taken us apart this year. The loss of Adams is going to be very hard to cover.

On another note, your comment about Aish reminded me that TD and I were both big supporters of him when he was at Collingwood. I am glad for his sake that the role he played at Collingwood has been so successfully duplicated at Fremantle.
