I agree. his best is great. but geez, starting every game -12 because you know Lever will do at least 2 mind boggling mistakes is a hard pill to take. You don't want your defenders to be your dumbest players. That's why McVee is so good.

You shouldn't condone Lever's stupidity. It's that sort of thinking that Lever probably has which causes this repeated behaviour. 2 goals a game from low level IQ and dumb frees. It undoes a lot of his good work.

His Brisbane moment in the finals a couple of years ago typified him as a player. I'm happy for him to be dropped.

And then he looks up at the scoreboard dumbfounded at how it could've been called (lol) which only further showcases his lack of footy IQ. I dont care if he shanks a kick and it goes straight to Adelaide for a walk in goal. I can handle skill execution errors. But I can't tolerate stupidity in decision making on the footy field. Especially with defenders. it brought Adelaide right back into the game.

Watch it properly - and I mean actually properly. Rachele runs straight into him and flops, was an incredibly soft and lucky free, the standard kind you see crafty small forwards try for every week if you watch much footy.

arms around the body is a free. bottom line. I've shown you the infringement in a clear screenshot. the flailing by rachele happened after which is completely irrelevant to the initial infringement.
