Wonder how many times mchenry will stuff up this week. Taylor should be in.

Only if you have rocks in your head.

This is the week a player like McHenry on our list is meant for. A sub role, for a forward, with two players who are all but assured to be selected coming back the following week. It's one of those selections where all that results from it is they come in for a sub appearance and are demoted the following week, regardless how well the player in question does.

If you're going to mentally **** with a player - **** with one who you don't see a long term future with.

FTFY…

McAdam has to come straight back in..

provides a real point of difference in our forward line..
Yes McAdam will absolutely come straight back in for sure - I was purely making a point about the lack of beast-sized bodies in the side this week though, hence focusing on the specific need for all of Pedlar, Berry and Fog to return to fix that up.

Something like…

Out: McHenry, Jones, Gollant, Tex
In: Pedlar, Berry, McAdam, Fog

Should be the total Carlton changes.

Tex on a 5 day break just doesn’t seem like it would end well.

I’d be fine if Smith got dropped instead of Jones but yeah, Gold pass and all.

Murphy stays in on current form, but if he has a shocker against Freo, he might be at risk.

This is the week a player like McHenry on our list is meant for. A sub role, for a forward, with two players - one who is pretty much going to waltz right back into the AFL side in Pedlar fighting for their role (seeing both Pedlar is one of our top prospects and is putting in a very good season at half forward). It's one of those, come in for a sub and dropped the following week deal, regardless how well the player in question does.

If you're going to mentally * with a player - * with one who you don't see a long term future with.
McHenry is in the 22. He’s not the sub.

Even though we all knew it would happen, I’d love to hear a justification from the selection panel on how Brodie Smith has held his spot. Completely disastrous performances 3 weeks running from him.

Bit concerned about two of our toughest bodies / best tacklers going out and being replaced by 2 short people.

Also concerned about a full time inside mid coming out of the side and no players who can even play 1 minute of inside mid time coming in.

This may essentially mean that Keays is on the ball for most of the game I guess. Sloane to also spend a fair bit of time on the inside.

Hopefully all 3 of Berry, Pedlar and Fog return against Carlton (with 3 of McHenry, Murphy, Smith, Jones, Tex and Gollant making way), because the team on paper this week looks a bit weak for mine with all 3 of those brutes missing.
He kicks far.

The king is back 👑 😂😂

Could have given himself a chance by having a better game last week
There was no way Taylor was even a remote chance on his form in the SANFL, by far his worst outing in the SANFL since he was drafted.

According to WaynesWorld19 , it’s called ‘selection authenticity’ and if you don’t understand it, then you simply have NFI.

So Fyfe obviously didn’t get up..

can someone please break Taberner’s legs in the first quarter.. he’ll kick 5+ on us if we don’t!
Murray not Butts needs to play on Taberner.

Butts on Jackson.

Pedlar should be playing, ridiculous he got a week. Pretty disappointing Nick's went back to the well with a player that's not up to it in McHenry, we must need that "not up to it" experience. Would have preferred Schoenberg or Nankervis. Jones isn't exactly a like for like replacement for Berry so I hope Nicks' plan isn't to play an aging Sloane against a young Freo midfield. That won't end well. Let's hope Nick's hasn't picked any injured players at least.

Brodie Smith must have David Mackay's photos, gold pass every week. Hopefully Worrell and Fog back next week along with McAdam, Pedlar.

The selection is a bit meh.

I suggested a couple of weeks a go that Murphy could be more effective with some stars around him, and his early form is a good start. The same is true for Ned.

Still I would have picked Hately, we could use the bigger body, and now we’re reliant on Keays and Sloane performing well in the midfield.

I have a feeling they’ll make Schoenberg but I’d do this if the expectation is that he works hard defensively and is straight back to the 2’s if he doesn’t

Zac has had an excellent preseason and was clearly BOG against Glenelg. IMHO, selection should be based on the last month not the last week.

Ned has also had a good month and is more of a like-for-like replacement (smal forward v inside mid) for Pedlar so I have no complaints with the selection.

Arguably we have five of our best 22 unavailable (Fogarty, McAdam, Pedlar, Berry and Worrell) so I am not surprised that we have quite a few back up players this week.

Good to see you back not sighted after last week's win but up and about after the Richmond game...

Some of us have to work to survive, rather than slavishly sucking the life out of the prior and post generations to fund the laziest bunch of brainworm farmers in history

Nah, if we'd lost you'd have been here with bells on...you do you.
