Yeah could be a good shot. He didn't do anything particularly eye-catching when I was watching the Casey game but doesn't waste the ball and is clean. Mightn't translate straight to AFL-level but I reckon he's earned a shot. That or a full game for Bedford.
Reckon we need to go with a smaller forward-line too. We aren't winning in the air with any of our KPFs and were outmarked far too easily by Sydney.

I’m all for dropping both but playing small with Moore and Howe won’t go well for us, not sure what forward options are available at the end of the year but we desperately need a pack marking forward or we risk a potential charge at a flag with a pretty solid team.

i've been impressed by Van Rooyens competitiveness at VFL level, i think that will translate to AFL if given the chance.

What’s the deal with T McDonald? The commentators were saying pregame his injury is potentially serious and even season ending. Wasn’t he supposed to be out with soreness?

Not playing Bedford was a mistake. Need that zip.

Love Sparrow but he’s not doing enough and making mistakes so out he goes.

The main change that matters is kicking to our forwards on the lead and not kicking into the 50 from over the mark. Key forward mix is irrelevant until we get that right.

The issue is also the pressure. We’re 18th across the last 6 weeks. So whoever is applying pressure for Casey has to be a chance. Bedford a chance to. Who goes out? Maybe Sparrow. But he was good last week so who knows.
