Clurey, second in our one percenters vs the doggies. Colquhoun was never going to be sub 3 times in a row so out. GWS don't have a recognised ruck so lobbe out is alright. Mitchell in for tearing up the sanfl, as much as everyone hates him for not being "afl standard" he's earnt his spot. The real puzzle is why o'shea is still in the team. He has to take either one of Patton, Phillips/Lobb forward (will probably be trengove though, McCarthy or Cameron. Whoever he plays on we're F***** we already know he doesn't have one on one ability Clurey would have been a better option.

Was excited at the prospect of a debutant but it amounts to nothing.

WHAT THE **** KEN!

FFS you have a chance to breed new blood (something the supporters of YOUR club wants to see) and what do you f**king do, you get rid of Clurey (Youngester, played great last week), colquhoon (youngester), Young and Moore (both deserves to play the last 4 weeks too prove themselves)! And who do you bring in ****ing old campaigners! JONAS... REALLY? JONAS for CLUREY. You keep in the spud of all spuds aka O'Shea, and you get rid of one of our future defenders. And Mitchell. Don't even get me started. No Palmer, no Harvey, no Byrne-Jones, no Amon, no Frampton, no Clurey, no Howard, no Shaw.

Hinkley all year I have stuck up for you, all year I said you were selecting correctly and doing the right thing. This week you have lost me. I have 0 confidence in you selecting judgement. And quite frankly it's seems like you're turning into Ross Lyon mark 2.

Have we considered that Cluery has shown enough and they know what they are doing with him but O'Shea has 4 games to prove what he's got before he's potentially chopped or shipped off?

Either way pretty poor

I thought that at first but I think Clurey will be a much better player than Jonas is. For starters Clurey has 4 cm on Jonas, is just as agile and can take a mark. Jonas on the other hand is tough and a good stopper when in form. If it were up to me I would be getting as many games into Clurey as I could.

If Jonas does not fire this week he has to drop to the 'support' role and Clurey has to be the 'preferred' player.

I agree that it is poor decision and one you would like to hear justified.

As for O'Shea I think he is an AFL player. He has had a couple of downers but he has also had some good games both this and in previous years. I think Cam is contracted until 2016 so I would not trade him unless the deal is right.

Like others surprised Clurey was dropped. Even though we all wanted some fresh blood in, the inclusions of Monfries and Mitchell aren't a surprise. I haven't monitored Jonas' form enough to be for or against his inclusion but I do love him as a footballer.

Kern plz.

I mean he's made some awful decisions this year, but god this is just outrageous.

I am sorry, I have lost complete faith in Ken, this has just finished me. Look for another coach.

He has got everything wrong this year, he's stubborn, his tactics are very ordinary, the players didn't play for him for parts of the year, he has consistently got it wrong at selection.

Bye Ken, maybe it was the assistants who were the real drivers in the previous successful years.

I'm actually fine with Jonas coming in, but i would have dropped O'Shea ahead of Clurey. Would have kept one of Moore or Young in instead of bringing in Mitchell. Happy that Ah Chee, Monfries and Krak are back in.

Back to last years structure with just the one ruck and Schulz/Westhoff as the only tall forwards.
Agreed, but maybe Karlos instead of Mitchell if he has learned his lesson, otherwise ok with me.

MItchell had to be picked on that performance regardless of previous AFL form

I totally disagree, but I think the coaches agree with you, which is why we've had the same few SANFL guns who aren't up to it at AFL level get heaps of games this year.

We're picking the best AFL side. Mitchell isn't in it, regardless of his SANFL form.

No he didn't. Pick the best team for the AFL. Obviously SANFL is a large consideration, but it's not the only one. It certainly hasn't gotten any of our young forwards / rucks selected this year when they've done well.
