I'm actually fine with Jonas coming in, but i would have dropped O'Shea ahead of Clurey. Would have kept one of Moore or Young in instead of bringing in Mitchell. Happy that Ah Chee, Monfries and Krak are back in.

Back to last years structure with just the one ruck and Schulz/Westhoff as the only tall forwards.

The important thing is Moore and Young are dropped (presumably to come in again next week) and Mitchell and Ah Chee are in (presumably to be dropped next week).

I reckon one or two or possibly three more times on that particular merry-go-round and we'll know for sure whether our fringe flankfielders can play.

Jonas and Mitchell in is laughable. Sure Mitchell had a very good game in the SANFL but we know that he is not AFL standard.

That's the sad thing, you're probably right but none of the guys dropped are AFL standard as well.

I had to watch the game again after all the love for Clurey on here and still don't see what all the fuss was about. Very 'meh'.

Our depth needs some serious addressing.

Cut deep, cut hard. Last year despite relatively poor draft positioning we managed to pick us a few guys who look to have so much more natural footballing ability and instinct than most of the guys 'developing' away. Hope we do some more of that work again this off-season.
