if Weideman comes in this week its just ****ing stupid why drop him after 1 game for more speed to bring him in the very next week how the **** is that good for his development? changes all depend on how everyone pulls up from both games i suppose so **** knows. is Kent ready to go? Baker to get a debut? Wagner or Vince to come in for Smith? Melksham to get dropped for doing next to nothing for over a month? Lewis to have a spell for his poxy leadership?

Kent should be in once he finds some VFL form too imo, I'd have him in for ANB.

Gotta love some Kent. Also wouldn't mind seeing AVB one more time. I know he is limited but can't wait to see him break someone's shoulder in a tackle.

I never, ever, want to see Bugg on field again!

We don't really need any changes, except maybe having hogan and tmac lead in opposite directions and we can kick to the best option of the two, instead of the long bomb/turnover.

Have a feeling this game is a huge danger game.

Ideally, we’d be able to rotate a fair few of our players. Stretch Frost Spargo Jeffy are obviously fresh, but Gus, TMac, Lewis could probably use a rest, and ANB, Harmes, Salem, Fritsch have played a tonne of footy this season and ideally we’d try out Baker/Balic before the season ends.

I’d like to see at minimum:

Out: Lewis Smith (ANB Fritsch)
In: Vince Hannan (Baker Balic)

ANB wont be getting dropped.
Agreed. Nor should he be. The amount of ground the guy covers in a game is insane. The coaches would ****ing love him. His skill execution can be frustrating but he brings more to the side than his potential replacements.

I’d be happy for Vince to come in for J Smith as the only change. It should’ve happened last week tbh. No great rush on Baker.

No way do you rest players now, we need to win games and cannot afford to drop a winnable game. Fritsch was in our best 6 players on the weekend, he is 21 so hardly a kid.

Agreed, there is the bye before the finals too, we just need to get there.

If we were ever going to rest players (and only if they are genuinely really sore/stuffed) I would be doing it for the Perth game.

The real question is: How do we play on the MCG? We seem to be struggling there as of late.

Not dropping plays that cover a lot of ground (ANB) and not bringing in slow players (Vince, Weid) would be a good start.

Not getting sucked into the contest and not pressing too high going forward will be critical too.

Dogs smashed us in clearances last time we played too. Factor in the fatigue from the Darwin game which is always an issue, our poor record at the MCG this year and the Dogs finding some really good form over recent weeks, this is a massive danger game. I'll be throwing a sneaky $20 on the Bulldogs. Obviously hope we can overcome the fatigue etc and win, but there's just too many danger signs about this game tbh.

Please not Weid. How many times are we gonna bring him in for him to do pretty much nothing?
We could bring Pedo in to do nothing instead?

Though I agree. Bring in fit and defensive pressure. Not another team with 10 talls, with most of them not agile at ground, or capable of speed.

I see McKenna had nine touches. He's almost too ready.

They just got belted by 12 goals, form isn't great. Not saying they won't beat us, but I'll wait for Melksham to confirm that we'll do our best before I get too confident.

You wanna go back to the dark age Yo Yo game, Matt Jones, in one week out the next, back in again etc etc.
Nah, stick with the dudes who won in Darwin. Let the guys who want to buy back their places earn them. It's also demoralising to the players. It's happened to Weidemann three times this year, in one week, out the next, Stretch gets picked for one game, same with Petty. Settle, things have changed, we can carry a player till he builds confidence, don't mess with them...

The Dogs' forward line isn't much better - Schache, Boyd resting down there, Naughton and Richards are both like 19? Gowers I guess

Frosty should have another relatively stress-free assignment whilst he's settling in down there

There's something I love about him, he just runs at right angles and is so un-orthodox - W I L D C A R D
