What is your point?

Michelanney was pitiful Thursday night - have a look at the replay. Needs a spell.
Nah - he will work through it
McHenry isn't AFL standard
Parnell isn't AFL standrard... What more do you want?
I want true accountability not what you think of their ability. I would keep them in to highlight how pathetic our seniors are
Burgess is break glass, I'm suggesting to try Gollant is he not a young player
I'm selecting Dowling is he not a young player? et al.
And? Of course you have to select them. I never mentioned them did I
Trying to wonder what your point is here... are you another Apricot slicer?
Lol you sure dont read my posts if you think I eat slices

My point is that each change you want is NOT FOR A SENIOR PLAYER (apart from Keays)

I WOULD START WITH WALKER, LAIRD AND SMITH AND WORK DOWN

I want to win this week vs Carlton, that's where we differ. Any way I've stated my point I'm moving on, have a nice day!

He ain’t our future.

Should retire gracefully (say specialist advice) and move on.

have to wonder why that hasn't happened yet. Can only assume it's full steam ahead to a return. And if the coaching staff had told him that he'd be SANFL only, surely he'd pull the pin. But he's continuing to plug on, which makes me thing there's a carrot dangling in front of him. And surely that carrot wouldn't be playing in the 2s.

If there's an apricot slicer around here, it's you.

One bad game and you’re dropping a young player who has excelled, righto

I've played behind unaccountable midfields like ours, it's not a lot of fun. When there's no pressure on the ball carrier, play in front, they can suck out the back and make you look stupid, play behind and they lead up and you get roasted for not playing in front. It starts and stops with pressure between the arcs. Our mids provide exactly zero.

The best result for the club is out and out humiliation against Carlton. That's the only way we end up with meaningful changes to our football department. Need Kelly, Nicks and VB gone.

I did note we had eight players missing from our match vs Carlton last year for gather round. Milera, Sloane, Murphy, Murray, Pedlar, Doedee, Sholl and TT. That's a lot of changes. With these outs, esp TT and Murray - who were strong at either end of the ground, we're struggling. TT gave us a chop-out for when our mids delivery was poor, as he provided a marking target - often up to the wing area.

I see a lot of Carlton, as the missus barracks for them and note that Carlton were able to bounce back, with the coach simplifying their game plan, and players better able to adapt to that. I wouldn't say they have out and out stars, they have a few good bookends and Cripps in the middle, but they play a great team brand of footy atm. They do make mistakes but not as many as we currently are.

I live in hope we can turn it around...starting with this week. Would like to see Dowling come in for Parnell and Strachan for Burgess. Laird to HBF and Dowling part of the midfield mix. We must get Rachele into the midfield too...just for that bit of pace and flair. Ned to sub, rotate Crouch and Berry off the bench.
Muray, Pedlar, Thilthorpe are the important losses from the team that beat carlton in gather round last year. The other players are insignificant and most of them we are better off without them in the team.

For those talking about dropping Michalanney - he held Fritsch (you know, the leading goalkicker for a finals side the last 4 years in a row including their premiership year) to 2 possessions and no goals in the first half and was a top 3 player for us in that half of football. Things changed dramatically in the 2nd half, but let’s not rewrite history.

Yes, you don't drop one of our best players for the year after 1 poor half of football on a quality player.

Meanwhile there are plenty of players who have been poor in moat games...

Fair enough. His kicking all game was horrible, his hands in traffic was generally good, laid zero tackles, and in the 2nd half he got absolutely demolished as the Demons played through who ever he manned up at the time. I get that it's a learning curve thing but he ran out of gas and needs a spell.

I don't get the calls for Gollant to be included. He is not performing at the required level at the moment. Perhaps Himmelberg for Burgess. At least he can hold his own as a back up ruck and will at times at least bring the ball to the ground in the forward 50. I know he can be up and down, but I would go him over Golllant and see what he can do while we wait for the much needed Thilthorpe to return.

I thought Himmelberg was injured? He wasn't listed on the stats page for the first SANFL game.

Why is everyone of your changes ( apart from Keays and to some extent McHenry ) are under 40 game players?

Burgess has been one of the better forwards
Michalanny you must be nuts to stifle development
McHenry because he is too small? Did he shrink? Use some other measurement
I wouldnt have selected Parnell

But the pint is you put on notice senior players - * them drop them now. Stop switching the fresh magnets and start removing the older ones
An out of form Steele Sidebottom to the vest makes your point.
We aren't playing finals this year now so a new strategic plan for the year needs to be implemented.

I don't care if we lose games from here, so long as there is strategic gain in doing so.

Playing the old guys all year and finishing 15th should be enough to finish the coach's and football dept careers.

For this game...
Out- Smith, Walker, Parnell , McHenry, Rachele (to make a point) (Laird moved to back pocket to replace Milera. Last chance saloon... O'Brien Shackles, current game plan and any sideways kick in the backline.
In- Dowling, Curtin, Edwards, Gollant, Ryan, anyone prepared to run both ways.
