- If Petterd is in fact out then I see this as the perfect opportunity to give Watts some game time, he's had some games with Casey and I believe it's time for him to chuck on the red and blue jumper again. He is our best replacement if Petterd is out for next week.

- Martin is an absolute pansy, for a bloke that is 6'7 (?) he seems to be afraid of contact even if the opponent is half his size. Go back to Casey and don't play for Melbourne again until you grow some testicles, this has forced me to ask for Paul Johnson to be included against the Dogs.

- While Rivers wasn't good at all today, I'm not condemning him after this one game but this is just a player making way for Jordie McKenzie who we desperately missed today.

In the third quarter Martin crashed a pack and sent two North players off bleeding, and won the free kick.

I don't think hardness is his biggest problem, and I think that his apparent lack of it could be attributed to the whole team's flatness.


However, I reckon he has major problems with reading the play and focusing, and needs a lot of work in this area if he wants to have a real impact anywhere but defence.

It was embarrassing early on when he ran in the wrong direction as the ball was coming his way, and it lead to a Norf goal.

I just dont want a repeat of queens birthday is all, but i guess he has to handle the pressure both in the game and from the media at some stage.

After the Brisbane game, everyone was stoked about how good things were going and how much apparent depth we have. Now that changes need to be made, we can use some of that depth.

Says that Watts just had another "okay" game for Casey, although he kicked 1 and missed two apparently easy shots... so maybe if he kicked 3 it would've been more than an "okay" game.

Cheney, Strauss & Gysberts all had solid games too so they'd be pushing selection.

We don't need Johnson just yet. Jamar is doing fine. Another big man in the side would only limit our fast paced, run through the middle game plan, which has worked so well.

Terrible performance today. Words can't describe how bad we were(excluding the 20 mins in the 3rd when we decided to actually run and work hard). Only Green, Scully and maybe Grimes can hold there heads up after that performance. Back to being awful...

How injured is Petterd?

We dont know. Could be anything from a few weeks, to a reco and a line through the season.

Wonna isn't fit yet so he wont be getting a game.

Trengove had to deal with his first tag today, at least he got into the game a little bit in the second half. He'll learn from the experience.

I am worried that we will burn Jamar out through overwork. Then we will be royally stuffed in the ruck.

Everyone knows we played way below what the guys have shown over the previous 4 weeks, so the blow torch will be applied to the playing group during the week... Petterd was obviously injured going in to the game, & probably won't get up this week, I think he will be the only change this week, possibbly Rivers (depending on match ups)....

Reasons:
Petterd - Injured
Martin - Useless hack
Rivers - Just didn't do enough plus bulldogs don't have real tall fwd line
Bate - Played terrible and to make it worse his opponent was Hansen. Only got 8 touches to Hansen's 16 or something like that.

3 changes should be the absolute maximum, we don't need wholesale changes for the sake of one loss.

Petterd is a forced change, Martin is a form change and Rivers would be a need change.
