Way too many blokes potting people left right and centre on here for no other reason than personal dislike

Seriously
People saying toump should be dropped... ffs today was the first time he started to look semi comfortable at the level and he kicked some beautiful long passes.. Needs more strength if we were a stronger side you could sit him on the HBF and let him rack up some easy ones for confidence

People potting rodan, i thought hes been pretty good the last 2 weeks and yeah hes not the player he was when he was 25 but he is doing a job, i think id prefer magner though

Until another midfielder works just as hard as mckenzie and has better skills then mckenzie stays

Fitzy i have no defence for....

So my changes

In Strauss, Gawn, Magner, Viney and Frawley if available

Out Rodan Pederson Dunn Gawn Fitzpatrick

Also id like to see tapscott not play as the sub, he needs to play full games or not at all.

Woah, there were things done wrong at the club - but this current situation is completely of Neelds making.

This was his solution to the problems, to rebuild a rebuild.

No one else told him that was the way to go.

Now, I think it's an okay way to go but still.

Well i think he feels let down because if this is what he predicted and he knew we would go down before we went up , then the board and president have publicly given him no protection while the media has been potting him left right and centre

Its strange to say but it really does look like the players are behind him and support him, they all blame themselves and they all tow the same line at press conferences speaking highly of him

I feel sorry for the bloke and i hope he gets to coach against the dogs and stkilda before we properly judge him

It's not what he predicted though... he said and I quote; "I'd be staggered if this team couldn't compete come round 1 (2012)"

It's reality now though, because players didn't buy in etc.

Well maybe that's the case and it's poor I don't think I'm ready to go through all the promise and dreaming again

Can we just stay single ( coach less) have one afternoon stands with new people

I just don't know any more.

McKenzie... I maintain that he offers nothing at this stage. Was he tagging Sidebottom? Magner or Couch please.

Evans... had one great game against the Giants, but he's a liability defensively and isn't a good enough player to paper over those cracks. Several times yesterday he was trailing his man into our backline after probably over-committing forward.

Dunn... you barely notice him all game, and then when you realise he has the ball you want him to just bomb it long, because that's all he's good for. Has had a tough time of it, being moved around everywhere this year and over his career, but if he was good enough he would have cemented a spot somewhere by now. He has become the new Brad Miller, pulling good form out of nowhere at just the right time to get a healthy new contract. Let's hope he doesn't pull the wool again this year.

Pedersen... another nothing player.

Rodan... did some good things around the stoppages, but his direct opponent did plenty more good things and was given a license to roam free all afternoon because Rodan doesn't have a defensive bone in his body.

Fitzpatrick... my mates and I were heavily getting around him in the second half, cult hero style, but FFS he looks so lost out there. The only reason to keep him instead of bringing back Gawn is that he is more mobile around the ground.

Am I right in saying that we will be able to upgrade another rookie for this game, i.e. after Round 11? If so we may as well give Couch or possibly even Clisby a crack.

Out: McKenzie, Dunn, Evans
In: Magner, Nicholson, Byrnes

I have no idea who we bring in if Dawes doesn't come up for the game... maybe Dunn gets a reprieve as a forward, or maybe we just leave Howe in the goal square getting cold. I'd much rather see him in the midfield.

I was also struggling to justify dropping a mid in Evans for a flanker in Byrnes, but then I remembered we have a bloke called Sylvia in the team. Is it just me or was he not sighted in the middle during the second quarter? FFS Neeld, I don't care if he's packed his bags already, he's one of our best players and is wasted in the forward half at the moment. PUT HIM IN THE MIDDLE FOR THE WHOLE GAME.

Stick with Neeld, we're not going to help things this year by sacking him. Re: the argument for why he should go; he did say he was going to make us the hardest team to play against, and we're currently the easiest looking at percentage. GWS aside, have we done more than play a competitive quarter or maybe a half in any game this year? It's not all his own doing but how many 80 point losses can you rack up before shouldering some of the blame?

As far as skills go with Jordie they're not part of the equation.
And I see you've pulled the old Decoy/In-Out Trick with Gawny. Will they fall for it though.

We are all staggered that this team can't compete yet, but its becoming obvious which players are coasting along and which ones are trying(or bought in ). I for one couldn't judge a player as to whether he has bought in or not based on skill execution (or lack of) , and we have too many players that just crumble(panic) under pressure. I am even more staggered that the board has let this speculation about Neeld continue since by not publically either defending him or sacking him , they have made a horrible situation worse (if that is even possible right now). The administation is a mess , the AFL had to send the cavalry in , the coach doesn't know if he is staying or going ( my assumption), the players don't know if the coach is staying or going (again my assumption), how on earth anyone can expect our team to function with all this going on is just as staggering as well. Throw in key players taking it in turns to be injured ,players maybe not following instructions and being dropped , who knows whats really going on down there.

I would make the following changes, some depend on players overcoming inj:

In: Gawn, Couch, Magner, Viney & Frawley
Out: Fitzpatrick, Rodan, Evans, Tapscott & Dunn

If we are trying to drive Gawn away from the club we are doing a bloody good job of it by playing that useless hobbit look a like in Fitzpatrick instead of big Max. Fitzpatrick is terrible!

I thought Fitzy was average to ok, i thought his issue was positioning, which will come with more afl experience. His skills aren't too bad, just needs confidence and positioning skills. I'd keep him for a couple of games... Although I put Couch as an in, we were shown up a bit for speed, but Couch clean hands/skills in middle might make a difference.

Some of u blokes haven't seen Couch play have u ? If u have your blind, he's slower than a snail. Another to be delisted

A snail that got 41 touches on the weekend and regularly gets over 30. I understand your point but that's where we're at!!

despite losing the last two in 2012 i must say our boys really give it the saints and out up a good contest. hopefully this year they can do it again and either lose gracefully like on the past two encounters or even get a miracle win. bassed on past performances i hope to see the boys have a real crack against the saints whom have hit a form slump.

People are giving legitimate reasons for dropping players which because you don't seem to agree with so you disregard them as "personal dislike".

McKenzie does nothing but handball to people under pressure, flat footed or both, he is an absolute liability. He's not taking anybody out of the game and he's not giving us anything whatsoever, the only thing he offers is hospital balls that are going to get a teammate absolutely crunched.

Oh Jordie works hard so we should forget that he is a horrible footballer, piss him off and get somebody who can hit a target from a meter away at least that will be an improvement on McKenzie.

He was ranked at #3 in a list of best taggers last year. He isn't being used right. he needs to be told to follow and piss off the best opposition midfielder. I have a feeling he is trying too hard to meet some of Neeld's performance indicators and suffering for it.
