Byrnes and Rodan, if not it's a major worry. We needed to throw some bigger bodies into pivot last quarter to tie the footy up.

Thought Rodan was pretty good actually. Byrnes I'm not sold on; don't know if Tappy is the answer though - when he comes in he provides some biff (good) but not much else.

Magner for Byrnes would probably please me, make Davey sub perhaps.

I'd be very interested to see how Tappy plays now our uncontested game has improved significantly - Strauss too.

God knows it was hard for outside/lead up types under Neeld.

I meant that it would enable them to get more uncontested possessions, which suits the roles they'll be trying to play!

Tapscott played well as a forward on Saturday in the VFL. Would like to see him tried as a small.

Was I the only one who thought Tappy was actually playing alright when he was dropped?

Byrnes has done very little as a direct replacement.

Anyone know extent of Blease inj, massive out, kid starting to flourish has been a plus whilst others who are getting some consecutive games is also a plus.

With three talks down back in Garland, Frawley and Tommy Mac we can move Dunn to Casey or he can be sub, it's only a matter of time before the dud is not required. Surely Tapscott can get a game before Byrnes and Rodan, if not it's a major worry. We needed to throw some bigger bodies into pivot last quarter to tie the footy up. It was pretty ordinary not to stop the flow.

Yes, tappy's output at AFL level had been terrible this year. VFL not great, I really hope he turns it around soon.

Was great on the weekend in the VFL, hopefully a sign of things to come!

Think I would probably give viney a run in the twos but grimes certainly comes straight back in if fit.

Well that's not ideal. For viney to play this week he would have to be involved in some tough training sessions to show he is match fit. He is still only a first year player and I'd hate to see him go into a game underdone, especially against the reigning premiers.

Yeah that's probably not a bad option. Gives him part of a game to get back in the swing of things. Would just be hoping someone doesn't go down early.

The coaches seem confident that he's fit. If he plays as sub, it's just a bonus.

just a bit worried match fitness wise ,having said that would rather have both in . Can see both of them pestering the match committee wanting to play .
