channel 7 not to show Collingwood-Richmond delay

This is very annoying. I had hoped to come home from the game and watch it again. Looks like I will have to get the full replay from someone who has optus. We are getting an edieted highlight replay. Bring on channel 9 and 10.

i think its a good decision by ch7 to change the televised game however what i find staggering is why not show a full replay and 1130 at night? it goes beyond logic.

I would also be happy if they were showing us a full replay of the game after the swans- bombers game. If they were then I wouldn't have a problem with the Swans Essendon game being on live. But they are not going to do this. We saw all of Essendons games in the ansett cup and have seen them every week in the Home and away season. They will be on tv against us on Anzac day as well. The teeny boppers must be pleased about this.

I think the weight has to be given to the melbourne team plying interstate. - espacially as swans have many melbourne based fans as well.
A full replay of Richmond collingwood would have been good also - they were going to show a full replay of Essendon

And if youse Melbourne people are sick of seeing the Bombers on telly all the time, well you can always go and watch the Collingwood v Richmond game live !

Is that right that Swans-Dons is live into Melbourne? The way I read it, it's on a one hour delay, starting at 8:30 after 'The Game'.

I am sick of seeing Essendon. And I do intend to go to the Collingwood game. But when I get home I want to watch the full replay of the Collingwood game again. But instead of this, they are only going to give us limited coverage of the game. I hope 9 and 10 give us better coverage than this.

I guess it is bad luck for people who don't feel safe at night.

Let's not forget about the old south fans in melbourne as well. We hardly get to see any sydney games this year. Only when we play bigger clubs like essendon are they televised. All beit delayed by 1 hour i hear this friday.

You would have to give preference to the Ess V Syd game only because it deprives the Essendon supporters of seeing there team play (for which I would never watch an essendon game). Richmond and collingwood supporters have the option of going to the game, something essendon supporters do not have.

So, go to the Richmond V Collingwood game. I think it will be a good one. I am sure there will be 80,000 + to it the way things are going.

I again say let them have the swans game first. But it annoys me that we only have limited coverage of the Collingwood game. They should show both games in full as both games should be great.

Edited highlughts is no different to the stuff you get at 5:00 pm on a Saturday afternnon. Saturday afternnon games aren't shown in full, they are just shwn on replay. Sunday games aren't shown in full, they are shown on replay too. Same with Mondays Melbourne-Geelong clash. Just the replay.

People in Melbourne can go to the Pies-Tigers clash if they want to. Essendon and Sydney fans can't (because it is in Sydney), so logically the non-Victorian match should be shown live (or with the 50 minute delayed telecast, which sucks)
