Also people calling for Boof, our batting isn't the problem and i for one do not want to rely on Boof bowling 10 overs each game.

We were discussing a batting replacement if Hayden is out, amigo.:)

I also note with some amusement the call for White to replace Hayden. We've now had calls for White to replace Lee, Symonds and Hayden in the WC on this board.

I just heard Jesus Christ is unavailable for Easter due to injury, and the Victorian Bigfooty members are calling for him to replaced by Cameron White.

No its supposed to be who had the most influence on the match and had the biggest say in the result

Of course Hayden was always going to get it, doesnt mean he fits the criteria

man of the match means man of the match.

its not hard to swallow.

like in the soccer final, Fred did set up most of Archis goals but your not going to give him man of the match over the guy who kicked 5.

Our bowling is nothing short of disgraceful

A lot has been said about certain players, but Mitch Johnson's bowled tripe for the past couple of times he's played. He just seems so hitable

Our quicks in general ever since the likes of Dizzy and Pige lost their powers have struggled in ODIs especially when the pressure is on and they need to keep it relatively tight, particularly at the death.

There is not one bowler who can be relied upon to bowl 10 tight overs, 4 years ago when we won the World Cup, we had like 3 of those type of bowlers.

we had them on toast at 4 -41 and Johnson bowled garbage and they got to 100 in quick time.

Tait was unlucky and selectors would have to think hard of playing him and Lee in the same side, Johnson does not move the ball and we already have bracken as a left hander.

Tait and Lee in the same team might be the gamble selectors have to make, of course if they dont want to play Hogg.

quite an amazing chase, yet again. As A fan I've proven to be Australia's Johnas I'm afraid.

What can you say, NZ pulled that one from nowhere and were gone for all money at 4 fer not many. Superb innings form Macmillan.

Please lord don;t replace Hayden with jaques in the WC!

While missing, what? 6 of our best XI?

Us being without Gilchrist, Ponting, Clarke, Symonds, Lee and McGrath is equivalent to.

England without Joyce, Collingwood, Pietersen, Flintoff, Plunkett and Anderson.

Sri Lanka without Sangakkara, Jayasuriya, Jayawardene, Dilshan, Vaas, Malinga.

South Africa without Boucher, Gibbs, Prince, Kallis, Ntini, Pollock.

NZ without McCullum, Flintoff, Taylor, Fulton, Bond, Vettori.

See if any team would win matches without those players.

I think you make a pretty good point overall. But to be fair, NZ didn't have Bond, Vettori, or Oram tonight. They're arguably their three best players.
