At the time I said that he was our best forward he was. He started out ok but his last 3 games in particular have been poor.

Notably yesterday we rarely bombed it in long which I think is a good thing but for a guy who has averaged 4 marks a game he didn't get amongst it. He and Marshall were both hard to watch it was like they were both content to let Mitch do the work.

IMO he will play out the season and try and get some form and fitness in the seconds. Almost a certainty Lord will be given the opportunity now to play as our target man and the position will be his to lose. We may see Dixon again depending on how he pulls up after the bye and some time in the Magpies.

I don't have the hate and vitriol some on here do for him. He will go down as one of our top 3 tall forwards. I just think he is passionate guy who doesn't always think before he speaks. For that matter probably doesn't do a hell of a lot of thinking full stop. I'm sure those casting stones on here have never said anything stupid lol.

At PA we talk about success not patronising players that are not up to it.

Too bad he came back after spitting the dummy at Koch's comments about 2017 EF performance. So overrated. Never liked him as a footballer and never been a true clubman.
