The man is seriously a beast and superstar of our game.He gets hammered on this site by the nuffies and is always compared to Ablett etc but we all know how good and important to us he really is.

If he was not out there today i would be pretty confident in saying that we would not of won that final as his 3rd Qtr when we started our comeback he was the colossus and took the team onto his own back like has done many times before but it was different today. He was coming back from a serious knee injury, lacked some preparation while he looked proppy early on and slow etc.

Then he arrived and just said NO and denied the Tigers as we launched our comeback on his heavily weighted shoulders. Serious man love right now for Juddy and this is why we had to give a quality player away like JK to get him and the signing of Chris has paid off in spades when you look at games like today on the biggest stage.

Keep it going Chris and have a quiet week on the track and the last time we played the Swans up there in a final he was also a clear BOG in a losing team. Massive man love right now for him and i am so glad he is going around again in 2014. :thumbsu:

i love people say he will be cooked and he doesn't care, since he did his knee he has shown nothing other then a guy who wants to play.

where the trade naysayers now?

Absolute Champion! When the game is there to be won he is the man that will push through sheer determination, gut running and just an absolute willingness to win from contest to contest. When he leads we follow he is the ultimate finals player and they call Hodge "Mr September" I'll take our man any day!

Inspirational game from CJ. He definitely wasn't 100% but the way he seemed to just will himself into the game and have such a telling impact in the second half was phenomenal. Onya Chris!

I've seen people on this site say Judd would be nothing without his athletic ability and is basically just a very athletic player with no true skill.

What a load of absolute horse shit, it's safe to say. Ever since he joined us he's been managing destroyed groins and today he was coming off a knee injury and still looked proppy even early on, and well... what he did today speaks for itself.

Absolute beast.

What a freaking star this bloke is.

Pulled our club out of the doldrums and single-handedly got us back into the game today.

****ing speechless...

:thumbsu:

Ps. Get over to the main board and keep bumping the threads created by nuffies who thought they were wise when questioning his value to us.

Should we really have expected less from this man? No matter if he never wins a premiership with us, he is now a Carlton legend.

Juddy was back to his brilliant ways tonight, and was great to see him celebrate after kicking that big goal.
He doesn't usually celebrate after a goal, it just showed how much he loves the club and how much the win meant!

Duigan also sensational, and deserves another contract!

Make it happen blues!

My best guess is that Judd has little to no interest in the home and away season anymore.

He will probably 'manage' himself through a few seasons because the team looks like it could make a few consecutive finals campaigns.

I'm sure this approach would work for all parties involved, Judd gets to step back a bit and ease the load on his body and the team gets 2 to 3 more seasons, because we are definitely a better team when Mr Judd decides he's going to change the course of a game.
