The only club in he's mind he's considering is Collingwood, which is like durant going to golden state. He talks so much about he's standing in the game and wanting to win numerous flags, but you can't just jump on the best team in the land when fully fit and win an easy flag if they stay healthy.

I'd think Sydney or gws could also get the deal done if he wants to move from Melbourne. Also if he's so worried about he's standing in the game, go to freo or gc and win their first flag and be a leader

If he wants to play regularly at the MCG then its Carlton , Hawthorn probably doesnt want to pay that much for him as theyre such a young side with a good midfield coming through.

If he just wants to stay in Melbourne then the Dogs youd think, they have the pick from bailey smith

I still think Bombers are the best fit for him though. Theyve got most of the pieces, just lack A graders. Theyve got Hobbs and Tsatas in the VFL to tempt a rebuilding Melbourne side too

Are Carltons untouchables. The problem is if they trade out McKay they have no second fwd option. Yes petracca can go fwd, but cripps, walsh, Hewitt and cerra aren't noted goalkickers and Kemp is a backmen. So they will be noticeably weaker fwd of centre if they trade McKay out. Also teams would double up on curnow. Tdk is a ruck first, so I wouldn't stuff him up as trying him fwd. Maybe they trade pitto for a fwd not getting game time.

You'd think McKay, motlop and this year and next years first gets it done

Carlton would be stupid to trade McKay for Petracca, especially with the significant doubts on whether he'll ever return to his pre-injury levels. What makes Carlton a good side is having two good KPFs in McKay and Curnow.

They're far better off addressing their ball use and speed.

Petty is not a fwd. He's a backmen that you can swing fwd to try win games.
