If I could offer some silver lining, feels like as good a time as any for this shambles to have unfolded. Plenty of time for the air to clear and to adjust to the new regime without affecting draft strategy or plans going forward. List wise we can't really be any worse off than now, and the turmoil might stop us getting any plucky late wins and giving us a worse draft hand. It is painful, and I hate how it has happened, but it feels like the resurrection could be swift if Sam is as good as the powers that be think he is.

My son has just text me as he has just finished school for the day - just simply says Clarko with 3 crying faces

He was born in 2007 so has only known Clarko as our coach & has 4 flags under his belt at the age of 13. This is what this man means to Hawthorn supporters & more importantly my family.

Absolute disgrace the way this has been handled - fair enough they made a decision not to reappoint but the BS that has come afterwards trying to spin this has caused it to blow up in our faces. Should have just been up front about it just like Clarko has his entire coaching career.

Opens Positions posted something a few weeks ago along the lines that Clarkson (and his management) had not declared something important to Hawthorn, and only conceded when confronted by the Board. Opens Positions also hinted in a later post it was something that could trigger dismissal. Has made me wonder if there is, as Dermott hinted on TV some weeks ago, something additional that the Board knows that we do not.

To be clear - I have no information. I just read this chaotic website and read papers that are often just as chaotic.

So you have no information and you are interpreting hints. Give me a break!
