Geez I hope that you don’t stop posting. There are always flogs out there ready to belittle those of a differing opinion. This board can’t afford to keep loosing itk participation or it will ultimately end up just a bunch of nupties repeating the same drivel.

I believe what triggered most including myself is the likes of Caro stated that Mitchell wants Clarko gone according to her source. There is no way in the world he would’ve said that, both Mitchell and Clarko are mature and worked together for a very long time where they shared the ups and downs. It’s pretty disappointing that the media out there kept at it for the obvious reason that they want to cause a divide. Anyways we move on. Go Hawks!

What I don't understand is why you won't back clarko in on his word, instead your choice is to post that is untrue and they are just doing this to save face and are just proud HFC people; and said with such fact.

Either you are on the inner circle, a journo creating innuendo or genuinely just think so. Either way all options don't back Clarko in, in every word he has said.

Just had a quick rewind on Kayo to see the comments. What I found even more pleasing was the whack he gave the journos running with faceless comments. He said there would be some people with omelettes not just egg on their faces.

Just be thankful we will all move on from this because AC will not involve himself in Club politics, wishes to rise above them, and genuinely is motivated by what is in the best interests of the Club. In the press conference on the Hawks site, about 7:30 to 8:10 ish. You may not agree but IMO in parts of that section he “choked up” talking about family and loss.

I don’t understand what the problem is anyway? It was clearly an emotional statement from Clarko, what is wrong with media reporting it that way?

Perhaps not - and at the risk of protracting further debate do any of those supporting the related negative rumours/reports (allegedly leaked from the club) actually have any idea what the media's primary objective and/or end goal is here...?

Is it a Hawks board spill and/or Kennett's resignation and/or the CEO's resignation and/or Mitchell's departure and/or Clarkson being extended for another 10 years - one, some of these and/or all...?

Regarding the media there are many of them that want Hawthorn to fail and will do anything they can do to make that happen. I have my thoughts who they may be you may have yours.
In our society today people have become septical of what is the truth and what is not the truth.
But people should remember there are people out there who do have high moral standards and I believe that Clarko has them.
I believe Clarko is a man of integrity and he will see out his contract and do all he can to help the Hawthorn Football Football Club.
