I think if you read my post, you will note that I state that Richmond has had serious cultural problems in the past. I also requested that this not become a bay 13 type thread.


I'm not defending King here, even though he is about half of Cloke's size and Cloke looked to be the aggressor.
The facts that a very small, and pretty ordinary player from the wooden spoon favourite, seems to have Collingwood intimidated; that Collingwood players tattle on their opponents; and the multiple biting incidents, clearly indicate a cultural problem at Collingwood.

Cloke was not the aggressor , King was scragging Macaffer for about ten minutes , Macaffer had enough and floored King , Cloke ran in and copped one in the eye . This should have stayed on the field . As far as the biting allegations go they are yet to be proven . Your club seems to be very intent on the whole world knowing about them and that is akin to squealing .

Thank you. I think King is a bit of a disaster area and he has cost us dearly at times with stupid frees and perplexing disposal.

I believe it's the second time a Tiger has been suspended in well over 5 years. Hopefully a sign of a tougher and more committed culture at Tigerland. Not that I want to see lots of suspensions for unsportsmanlike displays, but there is a bit of a silver lining to this one.

So Cloke was the 3rd man in.
In the photo it looks like he copped one near the nose as he was bending over a much smaller player while that player was lying on the ground after Macaffer had "floored" him. Then tattles when, even in this two on one situation with the man already down, he comes off second best.

Brave lad that Cloke.

You mean when the umpire heard a big noise and turned around during the game to find that Cloke was holding his face and YES he said he had been punched in the face... should have been a free kick.

Now if Cloke had then said later that King had not hit him... and therefore was staging for a free kick, isn't he then going to be reprimanded for staging? Or haven't any of you Richmond supporters kept up with the rule updates?

THe Cloke family ( excluding Jason ) dont have a good reputation.

Then again, players get up in the heat of battle ,and often say things that they regret later.

Are you serious? King has on multiple occasions attempted to anatagonize Collingwood players with violence, The reason he still leaves the ground walking is the tribunal. If it was a one off I'm sure Clokey would of left it at that but the only way to strike a blow to King's tactics without coping games yourself is to report him. King is not tough, tough is attacking and most importantly winning the hard ball. Sniping opposition players without fear of respite, well who is the real coward?
Cloke should be cheered by all Aussie Rules fans.

I find this whole thing pretty funny.

Richmond as a club are almost at the point of no return. After King hit Cloke he was dragged but the fans stood and applauded him and Jackson hugged him on the boundry line. So at Richmond they no longer believe they can win the game and are resorting to celebrating thug acts. It's like the shit club in your local competition that always loses so they go the hit.

Jake King is not only a shit player, he is undisiplined and if he is the kind of role model your kids have, all I can say is good luck. How about some players at Richmond work on hitting a target by foot.

What a little girl Travis Cloke is. I would be ashamed to cheer for someone like him. Especially after he BIT Luke McGuane last season and McGuane didnt pursue the complaint......because that would be pathetic.

King might not be my favourite player but its bullshit that he gets suspended because this fairy Cloke went and had a cry to the umpire and then was still crying when the investigation started later.
