Yeah it's amazing how often it spills out at the feet of a teammate, yet rarely ever spills out if there are only opposition players around.

It's so easy to do, you just have a light hold on the ball, you let the impact from the tackle do the rest. Played a lot of footy, if you don't want to lose the ball you don't lose the ball.

Things would change a lot if they cleaned this up. Would make the game easier to officiate.

Only got to look at Rugby Union. We should have the same demands on AFL players to hold possession of the ball.
