Actually I think our song would sound better if we didn't put three syllables in 'faster', maybe put the 'and' on the end of that line instead of the start of the next. Just a little thing but it bugs me.

The source song does has the two syllable word "battles" in the same place though.

Just listened to bits of them all.

Almost every Victorian side's theme with the exception of the Bulldogs sounds basically identical to the previous version. The Sydney and Fremantle songs are quite close as well.

West Coast's theme is very different and way worse, somehow. Bulldogs one sounds shit. Port one sounds extra shit. Ours sounds shit as well. Brisbane close but also a bit worse.

It almost sounds like the West Coast/Adelaide/Port/Bulldogs songs were made cheaply with fake instruments while the Richmond/Collingwood/Hawthorn/Geelong songs were made with legit instruments and specifically instructed to sound as close as possible to the original

The Eagles' song has been shit ever since the AFL made them remove the lyrics.

For those that didn't know, the original Eagles theme was essentially a FU to Victoria and much like our Kick A Vic slogans etc at some point around the mid 90s the AFL thought it promoted an anti-Victoria sentiment and put a stop to it.

This is the original WCE theme for those that haven't heard it before.
