A quote from Wittsy in today's article on the AFL website, that I like...

Witts says new midfield coach Steven King has been a big advocate of "playing to the players' strengths", which has allowed him to be more expansive with his hitouts to assist a powerful midfield of Touk Miller, Matt Rowell, Noah Anderson and David Swallow.

This team is looking great at the moment and if they keep up this form who knows what's possible, everyone seems to be invested which is great to see. Dew will have a statue out the front of Metricon in 20 years, you heard it here first haha.

I’m assuming everyone is sure that dew is safe now given the year so far?
The bottom would really have to fall out to get that back on the agenda again. And even then, maybe not given it's not so much Coaching related but injury related.

Would reckon he gets a 2 year extension.

Give him 1+1

One year, with a trigger clause for a second if we make finals.

I like what he's doing, but if we don't make it next year that'd be 5 years without finals, which is certainly enough for further questions to be asked.

First with the breaking news

From what I’m hearing…
Clarko to GWS

And Noble to the Suns in player development/ assistant coach role
Doesn’t Shaw have the player development role??? He seems to be doing a great job. Is he moving roles or do I have him in the wrong role?

He does, and he is doing an incredible job. Almost the most important person at the club.
We won't be bringing Noble in over him.
Ben has yet to hit an "exclusive".

Shaw King Campbell Kornberg.
Our Football Department stacks up against anyone now.
I personally think its as good a team as there is going around.
No surprise the team is performing better.
Pretty impressive what the coaching staff have done this year.

Culture has been built, next step finals!

Need to keep a lid on it.

Is it natural progression or is it new coaches?

Pies finished 17th last year
Now equal 5th on the ladder with 10 wins.
3more then ourselves
Pies have better experienced players than us, and them finishing 17th was a massive surprise.

Jamie Elliott - One of the top medium marking forwards
Jordan De Goey - Didn't play well but has star power when on.
Brody Mihocek - A young Levi, one of the strongest forwards in the comp and runs all day
Steele Sidebottom - Peaked but very experienced and one of few two sided footballers out there
Jack Crisp - Something we wished Lachie Weller was, GUN
Brayden Maynard - Something Lemmens should aspire to
Darcy Moore - AA Defender
Scott Pendlebury - Champion
Taylor Adams - Equal with Swallow

Our list
Sam Collins, David Swallow, Brandon Ellis, Jarrod Witts, Touk Miller. Still very young side
