If by a clarification of roles you mean they’ve clarified to him that he’s having a bunch of responsibilities taken away from him (aka a demotion) then yes, it’s a clarification of roles

Right I’ll remember that if I ever get a demotion. None taken because with access to big data and being a paid professional he should be streets ahead of the nuffies on here! Given his work over the past three off-seasons it’s up for debate whether he deserves your fanatical support.

I had my role clarified once. They clarified that they were no longer going to pay me and that I wasn't allowed in the building.

Yeah have seen him play. To his credit got played a lot as a bottom ager but he didn't scream out to me as a likely early selection for 2018. Plays back, quick, skilled but didn't get huge amounts when I saw him. Given quality of the draft would have thought he would go later / rookie.

Still beggars belief how Hine thinks he has given himself a stronger hand for these 2018 NGA / F.S kids.

Still just amazed we gave up a 2nd round pick for Murray. Why wouldn't you swap 3rd and 4th round selections from this year or next years. Even given them a 3rd round from either draft would have been better and at market.

I love him after seeing him a number of times this year. He's a lovely kick, great mover. Just looking through his stats he ran at 78.4% by foot which I know can be deceiving, but he kicks it long too, so it's not like he's playing it safe and getting cheap effective stats. Averaged 11 disposals a game played mostly defence, good rebounder. He's still very raw, but he has a few tricks others don't. Very happy to hear he's in our academy.

My point is that he is still valued by the club for his expertise. I read a few weeks ago that he was getting the sack. I guess that was another BF myth.

So Snoop, explain to me how Journo's, previous List Managers, Hine himself, (presumably) the Club, all got it wrong regarding this being a fair and reasonable trade, yet the ONLY people who believe we got duded are anonymous people on Social Media.
If you were confronted with any other situation where those two sides line up that way, who would you consider had the better expertise

(and please mate, none of this "just my opinion" bullshit because none of the negatively is being is being portrayed that way, it is being expressed as fact...and you are way better than to fall into that crap)

He is valued for his junior talent ID, correct. He is not valued for his list management skills, hence the demotion, or ‘clarification of roles’ as you liked to put it.

No it still doesn’t make sense. We could’ve used 3rd and 4th rd picks next year to pay the points for these academy and father son guys. Instead of having two picks in the top 30 of a strong draft we have pick 50 from the Swans. Yay
